After all, everything in life might as well be an illusion we make, since life is what we perceive it as and your perceptions of reality are as skewed as your mind could possibly make it.

[Important Notice] Stepping Down

| Dear IX200,

It's been five months of hard work and plenty of perseverance that I spent standing before you as your administrator. I don't want to make this really long-winded, as you know I can oft twist words into parables filled with illustrative prose threatening to make Shakespeare scholars (I kid XD) out of half of the crowd surrounding this locale. For this and this only, I'll attempt to be curt in my reasoning. In terms of my health emotionally and mentally, I am on the last step of the precipice before tumbling off into the death of my sanity. I came here to IX200 in order to RP but instead, I've been enough of a fool to spend all my time doing administration work instead once I stepped up to the plate. Chapters of HTML, a multitude of pages, and a few dips in the dark too deep later, I realized a bit later than I should have, that it's all been slicing at my skin and corroding at the demeanor of the person I used to be. My blessing and my curse is that I never half-ass anything I do. Always, it's done with 100% of my effort and I have this monstrous desperation at all times to save everyone, whether they are deciding to leave or there's drama boiling over-I always end up hurting myself more than necessary, in order to fix things. I guess my always giving so much makes me an alright administrator but I admit, this isn't easy for me at all. I've left a lot of tasks to Jenny, the mods, and our new artist (Yes, you can look at the staff page for that). 'Course I'll always be here for advising..what better am I at anything else but at doing this? :P I've given far too much of myself for a while too long and I think it's really time for me to try to love myself a little more. If anyone would like to speak with me about this or complain, really, you can tell me anything-go right on ahead and use that askbox. But no longer will I be an IX200 admin. I have hardly gotten the chance to be here for my own enjoyment as a roleplayer and have shirked off too much of my OOC life for this. If anyone needs coding help or wants to know something about what I did on IX200, I'll always be here as both your creator Hyuna and scientist Onew. I still am on hiatus for the next week or so. Likely I'll be back onto Hyuna  faster than on my Onew. Hopefully this doesn't alarm anyone too much. Don't you think about leaving, this directory isn't going anywhere just because I'm not crazy enough to let all of it consume me. I trust that this place will still be running well.

Movement

Swimming in a glowing, underwater sea of jellyfish would be a really beautiful experience. But, with limited access to the deep sea, this interactive installation by artist Takahiro Matsuo could be considered a backup to that kind of actual encounter. The dark blue room, a reminder of the oceanic abyss, is a seamlessly flowing design in which viewers can appreciate the beauty of these fascinating creatures without having to actually run the risk of a jellyfish sting.

The Japanese artist worked in collaboration with architect Akihisa Hirata to define this unique, 3D spatial experience where exploration through light, projections, architecture, and human interactions is strongly encouraged. As visitors approach the walls, move around, and walk away, the number and frequency of jellyfish increases and decreases. The organic forms and the glowing palette of blues create a surreal, underwater world where playful movements and interactions with architectural space result in an unspoken communication between artist and participant. One reviewer states, “Thanks to the specific architecture of the space, it is an unexpected experience similar to swimming amongst a coral reef.”
