can i be honest for a sec?

i'm suuuuper excited about the possibility of a brodinsons reunion, and nothing is going to change that, HOWEVER..... its very common and even expected in the m.arvel rpc to just hate all of the new content we're given and it's honestly exhausting to see. i think if you hate something so much, you shouldn't engage with it. you don't have to be here. you can go read comics or watch movies & shows that actually make you happy. and idk where this comes from, but it's so prevalent, and it's very disheartening to see when you're actually excited about something. i don't want to open the dash just to see something i've been waiting for for years get shit on by everyone.

m.arvel has its issues. every big franchise does. we can critique their problematic choices (and we SHOULD) while also enjoying the media. because, spoiler alert: there is no way to ethically consume a capitalist's media. we should acknowledge that and let ourselves find joy where we can anyway. and if it isn't bringing you joy, drop it for something that does.
