This is Harold. I met him on 38th and Broadway in Oakland. He told me he slept in the same spot every night because it kept him dry during all the rain. He said the downside was that people often stole from his cart. He got a grilled chicken burrito with black beans and a water.

This is Christine. She told me she was born on a sunday the Lord's day and it's been hard to live up to her name and her day. She was on Lakeshore and Lake Park in Oakland. She got a grilled chicken burrito with black beans and a water.

I met this man in the Safeway parking lot on Grand in Oakland when I asked him what his name was he told me "Avatar". Avatar asked me for Doritos and nacho cheese sauce and that's what I bought him, plus a large bottle of water.

This is Adam and his dog Jessie James. Adam was very proud of Jessie James who was very sweet and friendly. I bought Adam a order of pho with beef and vegetables, and a bottle of water (an extra bottle and bowl for Jessie James). I meet him on the corner of Montgomery and Post.

This is Mark. He was quiet and a little shy. I bought him a bag of almonds, water, rice cakes, peanut butter, and some protein bars. He said he sits on Kearny and Sutter about 2 hours everyday.
