something inside thackery told him to stop and look at what this strange person was fiddling with. he was on his way to work, but he could afford to be a little late. he was pretty caught up on his work, so no one would really miss him. he stopped by and cocked his head to the side. “what even is all this? and no, i’m not a cop, “ he answered, attempting to take a closer look.

“ghost tracking and capture equipment.” Dipper listed off tweaking with a knob before looking back. “Everything has a place I just gotta put it the right spot and hope for the best” He figured it would be waste to run over everything to a stranger. He pulled out his lucky rabbit’s foot. “If im lucky then I finally have proof of ghosts.”

“Cop is such a blanket term,” Woody replied as he mock polished his sheriff badge. “I’m the sheriff, and it should be plainly obvious that i am,” he replied sarcastically. He stood and looked over the equipment and other odds and ends scattered about. “Anyway, I’m off duty, i was just curious as to what you were doing.”

“Ghost hunting. Officer” Dipper mumbled on edge never getting along with the authorities. “Look its all legal...minus the minor radiation but that’s in a lead box so it safe.” He rambled eyeing the badge. “Please don’t take it away it takes so long to buy everything again and im extra broke”

He had heard from a lead that a ghost was sighted in the park and he wasn’t about to pass up a chance to catch one. “Why do you ask? Are you a cop? You have to tell me if you’re a cop.”
