OKAY SO HERE ARE ALIDA AND RHYS (thank you to ooc-sui for helping me with shading Alida/drawing Rhys) and they’ll be taking over the blog for the next week. taff probably choked herself again.
okay so, a bit about Alida:
She’s thirteen, even if she looks younger
A bit tomboyish, she loves to roughouse
She’s more physical in her interactions; poking, shoving, hugging, etc. though she’s gentler around people like her sister and Aurel
secretly has a huge crush on aurel and after she finds out about a certain incident, she becomes inherently protective of him
she can’t see Aurel doing anything wrong - she says he needs protection but really she’s just super lonely
has a sister who’s kind of snooty, her name’s Elsie and the two of them aren’t close at all
Alida has a soft spot for Aurel’s baby sister as well, and she loves watching the toddler whenever she can (it also guarantees her a free visit to Aurel’s house)
Aurel’s step-dad also loves her
She can, however, cry rather easily and if you push the right buttons she’ll curl in on herself emotionally
It’s easy to gain her trust, and just as easy to break it - if you break it the first time, she’ll be nervous around you for quite a while
That being said, she’s normally pretty outgoing
after a bad car accident when he was twelve, he ended up being blinded in his right eye
He’s sixteen; has two younger siblings who are twins, Eleri and William (he secretly like Eleri more, Will is very quiet)
His Mum walked out on them when he was nine, and he’s been bitter about the ever since
He has a younger cousin who he is also fircely protective of, because the kid has a habit of not understanding anything
he’s generally sour about his mother leaving but also understand that, because his dad’s a scatterbrain and also has masochistic tendencies
he’s practically a clone of his father, other than his bangs
has no sense of fashion and has to rely on his best friend to dress him
he’s a bit of a sassmaster
the tallest in his family except for his oldest uncle
please hurt this child i hate him
