"ANDOR" MAJOR LIO PARTAGAZ created by Darth Daddy
Lio Partagaz was a human male who served the Imperial Security Bureau as a major. He led the ISB Board in the ISB Central Office on the Imperial capital planet of Coruscant and concerned himself with identifying unrest long before it escalated into a threat to Imperial safety. Supervising the ISB Board, which comprised the highest echelon of field operatives in ISB, Partagaz managed eighteen ISB sectorial Supervisors and their attendants, as well as members of the Imperial Navy and Army whenever required. Partagaz organized the supervisors, settled personal or work-related disputes, and managed meetings. He became well-respected within the board and the Empire for his intelligence and competence, becoming friends with Director Orson Krennic.
Partagaz served as the ISB board supervisor during a turbulent time in the Empire, with random acts of rebellion appearing throughout the galaxy. After the Heist on Aldhani, Partagaz was involved with the ISB response during an emergency meeting and the passing of the Public Order Resentencing Directive. Partagaz was also involved in Dedra Meero's search for the "Axis" of the rebels, who, unbeknownst to the Bureau, was Luthen Rael. He was also heavily involved with the Imperial activity at Ghorman, supervising the majority of the field operation, and being one of the few people fully aware of the purpose of the operation. After failing to prevent the Rebel extraction of Kleya Marki, a rebel who had been passed on classified intelligence relating to Project Stardust, Partagaz took his own life to prevent being arrested for his failure.
To make the figure we purchased an unpainted resin headcast of the character from Syndicate Customs. We had some rank insignia modifications needed that were easily addressed with an X-acto knife. Some paint was added to the purchased head as well as the hands and shoulders of the Imperial Officer base figure from TVC 4-pack.

"THE CLONE WARS" C-21 Highsinger created by Darth Daddy of "Customs for the Kid"
C-21 Highsinger is droid much needed in The Vintage Collection. There have been so many droids neglected in the 3.75" line. That is why we felt Highsinger would be a great character to promote the 3rd annual Last Figure Standing fan poll event going on currently. Collectors recently submitted their Top 10 most wanted Vintage Collection figures. The results of those submissions will be used to determine the community's overall most wanted 12 figures. That's where the fun begins as a series of elimination rounds slowly eliminates the chosen figures until only one remains and we crown the Last Figure Standing for 2025.
C-21 Highsinger was #3 on our list behind The Client played by Wernor Herzog and Dryden Vos played by Paul Bettany.
The 3D print we purchased from Syndicate Customs was designed by Skylu3D and offered some excellent articulation. The figure had articulation at the head, shoulder, elbow, wrists, torso, hips, knees. and has rocker ankles.
All Dad had to do was assemble, paint, and then add some Model Masters cement glue in all of the joints to tighten them up. Dad added small rare Earth magnets at the hip joints to increase their sturdiness.
C-21 Highsinger was a combat droid bounty hunter that operated during the Clone Wars. He was part of Krayt's Claw, a syndicate of bounty hunters that included Boba Fett, Latts Razzi, Dengar, Bossk, and Oked. He had extensive modifications, including precision-engineered servomotors and manipulators. Although a deadly combat droid, C-21 Highsinger had his battle programming pushed beyond its limits when defending Otua Blank's subtram from the swift Kage Warriors. Later in the Clone War, Highsinger was with the other members of Krayt's Claw, worked when Boba Fett guided former Jedi Master Quinlan Vos to find former Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress and enlist her support in a mission to assassinate her former master, Separatist leader Count Dooku.
Highsinger continued to work with Razzi into the reign of the Galactic Empire.
Highsinger's superhuman reflexes, speed and agility enabled him to be a terrifyingly efficient combat machine, excelling at armed and unarmed combat, as well as martial arts.[1] While Highsinger rotated and fired with his rapid speed, everyone, including allies such as Boba Fett had to remain out of harm's way. Highsinger's reflexes and speed combination proved lethal as he opened fire on the Kage Warriors.[3] Highsinger was also an expert tracker.[1]

THE CLONE WARS - THE WRONG JEDI
Adding variety to the blog has been challenging this year. The way my commission requests have been developing, I have already had to make three Assaj Ventress this year with only minor variations. The actual commission for this project is for another Assaj Ventress, but I had a TVC Assaj Ventress recently shipped from Hasbro Pulse so I decided to make an animated alternate head for my own figure while my own figure was in transit. When I finished the "Dark Disciple" custom, I swapped the head of the original figure and added the one that I just made then photographed her with a set of red lightsabers from when Ventress was ambushed by Bariss Offee in "The Wrong Jedi".
I was so thankful I molded the torso of my second Ventress commission from this year because making a flexible resin cast of the torso saved me a lot of sculpting hours.

"THE CLONE WARS" LOK DURD designed by Uzay Customs and painted by "Customs for the Kid"
Lok Durd is a Neimoidian general and weapons developer in the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars. He is known for creating the Defoliator, a weapon designed to eliminate organic life while leaving machinery unharmed. He attempted to use this weapon on the pacifist Lurmen on the planet Maridun, but his plan was foiled by Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Aayla Secura.
This 3D print was designed by Uzay Customs and with a little paint, you can easily add this character to your TCW action figure display like we have. Lok Durd was easily one of the most deplorable villains who actively participated in actions that would have resulted in a genocide of the Jedi had not stepped in on behalf of the Lurmen.

"RETURN OF THE JEDI" LOJE NELLA painted & flocked by "Customs for the Kid"
This was a fun project we did to fill out our Jabba's Palace display. Loje Nella was a shadowy Riorian female who was a member of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's court. In 4 ABY, she was present in the throne room booths of Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine during a performance by the Max Rebo Band, which ended in the death of the enslaved dancer Oola.
Nella later took part in a trap laid for Princess Leia Organa, who freed Jabba's prisoner Han Solo from carbonite while she thought the Hutt was sleeping. Jabba, who had been warned of Organa's disguise as the bounty hunter Boushh, had hidden behind a curtain with Nella and other favored members of his court. Once Solo was free, the Hutt revealed himself and had Solo and Organa captured while the Riorian laughed alongside other court members.
This 3D print was designed by Sjefke. We painted the resin model and then applied moss flocking. It was the first time we ever used the technique. You'll typically need a flocking material (like fine turf or sawdust), an adhesive (like PVA glue or Mod Podge), and a way to apply it to your desired surface. The process generally involves applying the adhesive, sprinkling the flocking, and then sealing it. You can also add color and texture variations for a more realistic look.

"ANISE I'ZAK & CAPTAIN CHARGE" created by Elias of "Customs for the Kid"
Anise I'Zak isn't a Jedi most fans know of, but fans who have read the Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures comic really appreciated her, especially my client who commissioned this. I was asked to emulate the animation style of 2008 The Clone Wars TV series rather than the Tartakovsky design style she was originally created in. One of the most exciting parts of this project for me was bringing these two characters to life in a visual style that had never been previously designed. I was in the unique position of getting to make my own creative decisions about the visual language of these characters, but there's something even more exciting about this project. The client who commissioned it intends to use the figures as the lead actors in his own Star Wars stop motion animated fan film! Stop motion takes a great deal of time, passion, and patience, so we await the release of this fan film eagerly and with the same patience. You can all follow his work at Zack Films Studios!
Anise I'Zak first appeared in the comic story "Chain of Command," written by Jason Hall, penciled by Ethan Beavers, and published by Dark Horse Comics in the tenth volume of the Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures trade paperbacks[1] on December 19, 2007. Captain Charge, her security Liaison, is an original character created by the client. Bringing him to life was quite a privilege!
I made Anise using the torso and upper arms of a Clone Wars Shaak Ti action figure. The hips, legs, and forearms were taken from a Clone Wars Mace Windu. I did some action figure surgery with a dremel to get the Shaak Ti torso and Mace Windu hips to fit together, and sculpted over everything to make the transition more seamless.
I designed Anise I'Zak's head in ZBrush, and because she will be used for animation, the client and I decided to make 3 alternating heads with varying expressions to create more storytelling opportunities. Charge required no sculpting, and was a repaint of a Phase 2 Captain Rex.

"CUSTOMS FOR THE KID" CELEBRATES 15 YEARS OF BLOGGING!
body in a huskier Rebel orange flight suit while keeping with tradition by utilizing a widely available resin head cast created by another member of the custom action figure community, executing a super simple head swap on the original figure. All it took was a "Customs for the Kid" paint application on the head cast of Dave Filoni's likeness purchased from Outer Rim Traders. The most difficult part of the project was repainting the Jek Porkins helmet to make it look like the one worn by Trapper Wolf in The Mandalorian.
We thought about going crazy and making something 100% sculpted from the ground up like we do on occasion, but this is day is about celebrating the blog and not us. And this blog is about promoting community. The proprietor at Outer Rim Traders was one of the first people in the customizing community to take us under his wing, so it is only fitting that we share something we picked up from him. What fun is showcasing a figure if you all can't recreate it at home?

“THE MANDALORIAN - SEASON THREE” CAPTAIN BOMBARDIER AND DUCHESS ZILLA of PLAZIR-15 created by Elias of “Customs for the Kid”
When my client ordered Duchess Zilla, he also requested her companion, Bombardier! I recently just completed my first version of Captain Bombardier, but the client only wanted him. Shortly after, I got the commission for both of them. I was happy with The Duchess, and my first Bombardier, but I never got to see them together. I am happy to finally be able to unite these two characters in action figure form.
My recipe for Captain Bombardier was exactly the same as it was on my first version, a Movie Heroes Jek Porkins and my own original headsculpt. The Jek Porkins was heavily altered with a Dremel and hand sculpting with Green Stuff. This time I assembled his gold cape using a sewing machine. It was a bit more challenging to work this small with a machine, but I feel that the final product came out faster and more durable.
While their appearance in The Mandalorian was controversial, I wanted to give this project my all. I appreciated the opportunity to depict the more opulent side of the galaxy, and no matter how you feel about the characters, we hope you can appreciate the craftsmanship behind these action figures.

"THE CLONE WARS" WAG TOO designed and printed by Peak-OB1 Custom Creations and painted by "Customs for the Kid"
While I have been busy making non-Star Wars custom action figures for clients, Dad has been helping with making content for our blog by painting up some custom action figure prints that were sent to us by friends of ours in the custom action figure artist community. Chad Peak aka Peak-OB1 Custom Creations is one of our oldest and closest friends. You may recall our YouTube show with Peak-OB1 Custom Creations called "Customizing The Clone Wars" where we went episode by episode sharing with our audience how we went about making the unreleased characters from the show as action figures.
This great design of Wag Too and a great companion piece to his Tee Watt Kaa action figure design and print. Being able to complete the father and son set was a real treat!
We have a plenty more prints that Darth Daddy will be painting this year so don't be surprised if you see a few other designs from Chad on the blog in the future, "THE CLONE WARS"WAG TOO
