Hi there, I’m a nonbinary single black mom named Cece. I am making this GoFundMe today in hopes that my car can be saved. We had a bad flood about a month or two ago and as a result my entire center console doesn’t work, meaning I have no heat and cooling. It also doesn’t help as my tires are entirely bald and have no grip at all. I set my goal to 1000 for tires and the repair from the flood. My insurance says the minimum I have is $499, without pay for the actual work. And for tires it’s $120 for one brand new tire. I am hoping this GoFundMe doesn’t get lost. I can try to cut cost by getting used tires. Any excess funds I get will be going to bills, as I haven’t had income since June. I got by July by having family help but I’ve since exhausted that extra family help and now have nothing. I started a job at a grocery store but had to quarantine for a week and a half and finally have my first day tomorrow (September 10). Please share this with anyone you know, share it anywhere you can because anything (even a dollar) helps.

I haven’t had income since June, as unemployment cut me off in some confusion with my disability status. I am supposed to be on disability for my mental help but I can’t afford to apply and wait. So I’ve gone against their orders and my doctors orders and I am trying to work to support myself and my lovely son. I don’t have family support, I have my one brother and sometimes my mother will talk to me, but besides that its just us two at home. I’d love to be able to help someone else again but right now I can only work with what I’ve got and what I’ve got is nothing at the moment.
