Yo, Adolescente (2019) - Lucas Santa Ana, Argentina.
Hello, last year I wrote a post (here) about this film and I’m here again just to let you all know that it came out on the 23rd of this month and I think you should watch it if you want to feel -in one way or another- related.
TW: the film contains suicide references/scenes (not explicit) that could affect someone going through this kind of situation, so if you don’t feel comfortable with this, please do not worry and do not watch it or if you do, watch it under the supervision of a responsible adult.
THE PLOT:
“Set in 2005 and after the fire of a very popular dance club called Cromañón, the night and cultural life of the city of Buenos Aires changes radically, especially for the teenagers who stopped being welcomed even in the concerts of their favourite bands.
In this context and with the suicide of one of his best friends on his back, Zabo, a 16-year-old teenager, begins to write everything that happens around him within a year in the drafts of his blog. Unable to understand Pol’s death, Zabo gets immersed in a depression that he denies and covers up with love conflicts that he himself generates.”
WHERE TO WATCH IT:
The film has been available at CINEAR website (here) from the 24th and wil still be there for 7 days FOR FREE, so hurry up and watch it!
If you live outside Argentina, you will have to use a VPN.
