     The man remained silent for a moment, being mostly quiet after having been Batman for so long. “Hate to break it to you, Harley. He isn’t bats. I am.” Whites of the mask narrowing just as he could feel the elderly man on the other end of the line glaring at him. “And I’m handling fine on my own, thanks.” There is a hint of bitterness in the man’s voice, arms crossing over his chest after a moment. “You’re unpredictable. and a loose canon. I’ve read your file. It’s a no.”
