Does anyone know who was behind cittasanta? I mean IC

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking, but if you’re referring to whether or not residents of the Hive know that Connor was essentially “Santa” then I’m going to have to say no. Characters who helped Connor (as he didn’t do this alone) are free to reveal that they participated and whatnot (although they don’t know of his identity—sans characters like Ezio, Nightmare Knight and Darius that is.) but for the most part, the entirety of the city hasn’t a clue regarding Santa’s identity. I don’t want an RP plot to hinder the wonderful Christmas spirit we have going and it simply wouldn’t make sense—nor do I want that for Connor’s characterization and development.

Characters who have thoroughly established relationships with Connor are free to come to the conclusion that it was him, some already have—however, if the character in question only vaguely knows of him or are viewed as a distant acquaintance/stranger from his perspective then you’ll have to talk to me first! Some already have!

In Sectors 1, 2 and 3, there would be brisk snowfall. Lights. Lights everywhere, for that matter—animatronic snowmen and tinsel laced about every tree. Mistletoe can be found hanging in every corner and crevice of the sectors. NPCs would harmonize and sing Christmas carols from door to door, and stands serving hot chocolate and fruitcake were in abundance.

In Sectors 4, 5 and 6, the snowfall would be more...severe, however. There would be snowmen, snow forts riddled all about, lights draped from every building, guiding the roads and pathways of the city.

Somewhere in the area that surrounded the core, one would find a colossal Christmas tree--approximately 100 ft. as it towered over the entirety of the city, gleaming and illuminating the vicinity that surrounded the core.

And at 12--when some residents would slumber, while others would roam the area, the snowmen would come to life, beginning to dance. The entire city would come to life as a familar, bearded, jolly man would plow through the sky. Reindeer, jingling as they pulled along a sleigh of some sort, a sofa-like vehicle atop it. One of these reindeer looked...terribly familiar--akin to a more of a wolf than a deer of any sort.

"Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!"

The man would bellow. And so, he would plow past every apartment, home and hut in the Hive, soaring through the underground districts. He was somehow present...everywhere at once. Regardless of who they had been, what deeds they had committed, Santa would appear in the window for only a brief moment to wish them a Merry Christmas.

After 45 minutes, the city return to its natural state--decorations still in place as a tranquil sort of ambiance lingered in the air. All would awake to presents stowed away in their home.

Joy in the Hive, a rarity it may have been...was still capable of inhabiting even this city.

Hello! I would like to inform you all that we have successfully gone through the entirety of the masterlist and messaged every member who was on the masterlist before the date of 12/21! We have sent messages to every single castmember in every single fandom--totaling to over 800 messages.

If you have not received a gift from Santa, it is because

1) tumblr's messaging system is faulty and asks tend to not send through properly

2) you've been inactive for 3 weeks or longer

3) the character in question was not on the masterlist before the 21st

If you'd like this to be remedied, simply contact this blog. It is no trouble, we are human beings and this site is fairly faulty to start with--there's no way for us to know that you haven't received a gift and would like to if you don't contact us.

OOCly, this was a collaborative effort between myself (Connor/Luke mun) and Lily (Ezio/Honey Lemon/Cole mun) with a bit of help from Non (Hellboy/Mini Steve mun)

ICly, Connor is essentially "cittasanta"--however he is being aided by various members of the Hive.

All in all, I hope that the holidays have treated you well, regardless of what you celebrate, friends!

♛ | christmas trees roasting over an open fire ♪

As the city-wide broadcast concluded and Santa’s beaming face was replaced by normal programs, the Espada stepped outside to notice how quick the festivities crept towards his side of sector 4. From rooftop to rooftop, light shows flashed and swirled around street lamps. Glittery snowflakes were pasted around windows. A grinning reindeer fluttered under the overhang of a general store. Penguins were dressed up and marching to the tune of Holly Jolly Christmas.

Then, a series of rapid-fire, red explosions rained from the sky as he took potshots at the parade. The music hiccuped and died off as people fled the scene. Surprisingly unharmed, penguins waddled on through the thick smoke and debris, flickering like projections. The large tree in front of the market lit up in flames. As every branch was reduced to black ash, the flames teetered and began to spread to the other decorations and outdoor stalls. Glass shattered and sparks flew as ornaments burned up, fell to the ground and light bulbs burst. With a lopsided smirk, he sauntered out of the dispersing smoke.

What was this? Seems as though someone has attempted to corrupt the Christmas cheer of the city. What an absolute shame.

Unfortunately, they had to yet to realize this was his illusion--his reality. And so, every factor that protruded it could be altered by him. Even if it hadn't been genuine to the peoples, something in actuality could be occurred as this scene was projected. There would be flames, there would be smoke--but it hadn't been as though the denizens would be capable of seeing them, so long as they persisted.

And so, the smoke begins to dissipate. The decorations grow anew as if they were flowers, shards of glass would hover and return to where they originated, and Santa's voice would leave a genuine impact as it boomed, once again:

Ho ho ho! 14 fire trucks to Sector 4, for your dearest Santa Claus--a fire has been started by a particularly Naughty Boy. A challenge? This is my terf--and the most wonderful time of the year!

And so firetrucks begin to arrive--and after a span of 15 minutes, the Sector appears as it once was, as if not the flames or even the jolly spirit of Christmas had laid its upon it.

Ideas (as per the suggestions of other users) that have sprouted as of recently:

Mistletoe anons: every day or every other hour or so, individuals on the masterlist will be randomly selected and receive an Anonymous ask that claims that have stumbled underneath a mistletoe and must kiss the most recent poster on their dash. Of course, you will be by no means obligated to adhere to this message or go through with it--but hey, what's a Christmas without some mistletoe?

A secret Santa exchange, preferably a large party of some sort sometime during the month: yes, there is the wishlist system and Santa will be providing gifts, but it would be rather neat for character to solely utilize their own judgement to gift complete and utter strangers. Your muse will be assigned their giftee via this blog!

Both are currently works in the process: but they will likely become a reality! Further input would be very much appreciated!

The grisly voice of a certain, jolly man can be heard through the airwaves--no, not through the TV or the radio, but it instead booms about as if he were somehow...omnipresent. As if he had somehow encircled the city itself.

"Ho ho ho! My friends will be roaming through the city today--be sure to say hello!"

In every sector, a trail of costumed penguins can be seen, parading through brightly lit, festive pathways. They carry toys and candy canes of sorts, clad in red as bright, multicolored lights bloom and wrap themselves around buildings and rooftops, Christmas carols blaring all the while. One would be able to touch, interact with or stroke them--but yet, if you were to attempt to do them any sort of harm, the attack would merely phase through their bodies as if they were transient--for this event had been a sensory illusion dictated by Santa himself.

This fanfare would occur within a 30 minute frame. Afterwards, the streets would be cleared, not a penguin in sight as if the events that transpired had been nonexistent.
