Hey folks! We're here with a second, more illustrated blog! We're a person w DID who just wants to make a safe, comfortable, normal-feeling space online for ourselves and others w CDD's :) This is our sideblog for making and posting comics about our experiences! (main: @opossum-et-al )

About the Blog!

We decided to start making comics recently, both as a way of documenting our experiences, as well as a way of journaling, since we've been struggling with traditional journaling for a while now. This is our way of shedding light on our experiences, keeping track of our life, humanizing ourselves, and sharing some of this stuff (silly, serious, or otherwise) with others out there.

Though this blog isn't centered around educational content, we are more than likely to make some at some point. If you are someone who is unfamiliar with/new to the world of DID, please feel free to stick around, ask questions, or just chill with us!

As we are talking about our experiences with DID (a trauma disorder) we're very likely to mention some triggering things. We will tag major/common triggers to the best of our abilities :)

About Us!

In our comics, we represent ourselves through different colours. Though we won't disclose everyone, here are some names!

Rules and Boundaries

DNI's don't exactly work but we are gonna put some stances here. This blog is anti...

claiming having alters outside of the context of a dissociative disorder (post going into more detail about this)

aggressive discourse (being an asshole is not cool)

"fakedisordercringe" and the like

right-wing beliefs and politics

TERFs/radfems, transmisogyny, and transandrophobia

the usual (transphobia, homophobia, racism, misogyny, zionism, etc.)

As for how to interact with us...

Please feel free to interact through reblogs, comments, or asks! We don't answer DMs, but we will almost always answer any other means! Anons are on for the time being (and we would like to keep them on for the sake of those who don't feel comfortable sharing their main blogs here!) but are subject to being turned off if people misbehave, Please be kind :)

Oh. Thank you for this. I didn't know the process could take so long. Maybe this is why we've had a headache for the past few weeks straight.

Splitting can take different amounts of time for each system and can even vary between splits! We used to split much faster (when our stress was higher and we were splitting very frequently) but now that we're more stable we've found that splitting takes a lot longer (and, yeah, is marked by a persistent headache for basically the entire time). I frankly didn't know it could take that long either until we started experiencing it lol

honestly, this is what supporting someone w DID looks like half the time (thank you to my wonderful friends for respecting the sanctity of Floor Time 😌)
