Ivy, wasn’t all too social when it came to talking to strangers. She was more so focused on work so that she could distract herself from her own issues. Though Miss Hellena seemed to be rather nice and peachy with the other people of this town. “Honestly I’d still prefer to pay, Since You are showing me around. I don’t like owing people anything” She said and honestly that was mostly the reason. “And I suppose if they wanted you back so much then they really thought you were a good asset to have.” She said, shrugging her shoulders just slightly.

“Alright, I give. But just this once.” She smiled at the other. It was nice talking to another marine after so long. The blonde wondered where they should go after the cafe. There was the arena, or the hospital.

“But I guess you’re right. And I had been told I was more approachable than some of the other admirals.“ She’d always made a point to care for the marines working under her. Though it did strike people as odd that he didn’t like people saluting her.

A soft sigh left her lips and shed nod to her. Had she met her, well she supposed she could have maybe had another friend. But maybe she could attempt to make some sort of friendship with this woman, though it might not be rather.. Easy for her, since she was one to typically cast a cold shoulder to most that tried.

Honestly she wouldn’t think that the tour would last too long. She tended to get rather silent and awkward around others, especially to those that would be rather approachable and well liked. Part of her started to think about her sisters. About if they were all still okay, even if they didn’t think she cared much about them, she only joined the marines to make herself stronger and more able to protect the little that she had left.

Lucky looked a bit more than concerned, letting a sigh slip past his lips as he messed just slightly with the bandana he wore over his short brown hair.

“Well. You aren’t gonna like this. You’ll like it just about as much as I do. He sounded spooked Yasopp, And our Shanks don’t get so spooked so easily. I honestly Don’t know if it is or isn’t an Hallucination.” He spoke and barely glanced at the other before putting his eyes back on the road.

Just from that reaction, he was almost sure that yeah, this was bad, and may have been a bad hallucination from Shanks’ end. He had looked pretty terrible when he’d left, after all. “But if it was or wasn’t isn’t the biggest concern right now, is it? I feel like the bigger concern is that he’s freaked out, which I know isn’t like him.” The red-head had really only gotten scared once, and that was for a kid’s safety, the reason behind his second ‘accident.’ The accident that had always seemed so suspicious….

“Yeah, It isn’t like him to be so freaked.. Why do you think I headed out immediately?” He said only to pick up the speed just a bit.

When Lucky was driving, it was simply just best to not pay attention to the road itself, he seemed like he was either going to crash into lots of things, but he always ended up being completely fine, avoiding accidents as well as cops. Which was a rather good thing for their reputation.

And suspicious it might of been, they just couldn’t find that arm.. After so long, checking all the wreckage. Its honestly not like someone would just pick it up right? Maybe a dog had run off with it...

Either way, they just needed to get to Shank’s place.

“People tend to be drawn in by others then..” He trailed off just a tad bit, only to start to stand up, at least he could control his abilities just a bit longer. They were just itching to come out and say hello.

To the point now that just a slight chuckle started to leave him when he was standing near him. Though, standing was now a bit too much of a hassle. He could slightly feel his head starting to spin a bit. “Hey, You mind walkin with me somewhere?” Did he just ask that?

“Hasn’t that always been the case?” Another soft laugh, though it was something he’d been trying to keep hold of, and well, too crazy sounding usually pushed people away. He’d moved already to try and help Yosaku stay standing, it seemed like he was having trouble, was it because of the alcohol? Or was it something else entirely. “Nah, I don’t mind. You lead, I’ll follow, so to say.” He had to be sure that the other was going to be okay, anyhow! It’d be rude otherwise, right?

Alcohol could have just barely helped in the situation, at least that’s what Yosaku would try to tell himself as he’d feel the other help him like that, or somewhat try to without being too close. That was nice of the guy.

The blond just sighed lightly and nodded. “Yeah, People tend to either get addicted to switching partners every night, obsessive with relationships and companionship, or they end up just simply not wanting to be a part of any of it as a whole.” He stated before starting to move with him outside.

Companionship, closeness. Love, and beautiful disasters.

“You help out strangers every day, Johnny boy?”

Helmeppo laughed, trying to regain some composure. “Honestly not interesting would be a lot better. Yeah it’d be a bit boring but it’d be nice.” Now that he was feeling a bit better a wave of embarrassment hit him.

“Sorry. I’m not sure why I told you everything. You don’t have to stick around if you don’t want to. Or I could leave.” He’d probably made the other marine pretty uncomfortable without meaning to. “I should probably get back to my room anyways.”

He sorta chuckled a little bit at the others words, and then that bit of embarrassment. Honestly though it was pretty hard to get the guy uncomfortable, well. It was pretty hard to get him uncomfortable most of the time, but when he did get weirded out or nervous or something, you’d be able to tell pretty easily.

He wished it had been normal too.

“You’re fine kiddo, sometimes we need to let all that build up of emotions out, and whenever you need to feel free. Doesn’t bother me any.” He said because really it was sorta nice to be able to just help out that kid, see that he hadn’t made as many mistakes that he had in his life. He was already higher up than he knew he would ever be in the marines.

For All Jango knew, he would end up becoming a pirate again if he wasn’t careful. Maybe just a wanderer like the good old days.

“Though if you wanna go back to your room that’s chill, I think I’ll stay out here a little while longer.”

Maybe there was something that he wanted to say, and maybe he couldn’t really find the words to say, but it wasn’t something that he wanted to think about, or maybe he couldn’t? Goodness he didn’t know. And it wasn’t something he’d been able to learn about in his lifetime…. “I thought you were the most interesting person in the room.” When had he ever been that honest? He couldn’t remember…. “There was just something about you that drew me in I guess.”

“I don’t know if that would help…” He murmured, shifting some to curl up, pulling the blankets up from his waist to his neck. “But I’ve already said it, Luck… I don’t want to be here alone…” A soft groan escaped him, a shiver from the sickness rushing through him. “Don’…don’t drag those two from their classes…” A soft huff, and he rolled back to look at the window, almost as if there was going to be someone else hanging around, or simply staring at him from the outside.

Looking at his things to make sure he indeed have his keys, he’d nod to himself and all Shanks would hear would be that of a door shutting to a car. Looks like Lucky would be on his way. “alright, I’ll see if they’re in class. Either way just know I’ll be there at least.” He said starting up the car, putting on his seat belt (for once), and would put on his headset for while he would be driving, though before so, while still on call he would send a group message to the two of them, seeing if they were busy.

“You’ve got a key, mate. I’m…I’m goin to sleep for a while.” After everything, well, could he be blamed for needing to rest? After first being startled by the intruder, the illness was really taking its toll on him. “I know…I trust ya, Luck.” And he had to go, offering a muttered goodbye before settling the phone back on the table, actually plugging it back in before he was asleep, though he probably should have apologized to his friend. It was only Yassop who answered, reminding Lucky that Benn was busy with his courses, and asking what was on the bigger man’s mind.

Letting out a sigh and telling him once again he would be there soon, He’d sit in his car and look at the message back from Yasopp, asking him if he were to want to come along and be somewhat body guard types for Shanks, and that he would explain more so in the car.

Honestly, this was really.. Really weird to be happening to that of the red head, it was really weird and unexpected. But if he had to be protection, he’d give both his arms if he had to.

It wasn’t like Yassop would ever tell the other no, whatever was going on had to be something important because otherwise, he wouldn’t have the need to mention the word ‘bodyguard.’ What was going on that the other needed them as bodyguards? The other’s mind was running rampant when he climbed into Lucky’s car, trying to decide what was going on before he finally picked a plan of attack, so to say. “So what’s going on? Police? Rival gang? Aliens? Seriously, here…”

Lucky gave him a look with the mention of aliens. Seriously, what was it with this guy always just bringinng up aliens. Every. Freaking time. It was almost getting to the point that even Luck might hit him in the back of the head.

“What I’m knowing so far.” He said not hesitating or waiting to Yasopp to buckle up as they drove. “It seems to be some sort of stalker.. maybe. Depending on how sick, he is.. Possible hallucination.. And if that’s the case, we’ll need to take him to the hospital.”

It was always something that he seemed to think of though, because no one could prove that aliens weren’t an option, and until they could, he would ask. And it was just a question. “You really think that it was a hallucination? That’s not good at all….” He wondered a little more, trying to figure out if maybe the other was that sick, but he was that concerned over Shanks’ attitude? What on earth could have happened? “What on earth did he tell you?”

“well. Simiane la Rotonde” He spoke as if it were a fond lover he hadn’t spoken of in years, just a slight accent showing through his words. “In Provence.” He said smiling lightly to himself as he did so. “I haven’t been back in years honestly. It was surrounded by lavender as far as the eye could see.. Quite a pretty place if you get the chance in your life at some point.”

“France, huh?” A little pause, and Johnny is tilting his head some, kind of enjoying the fact that the other seemed so happy and content when he thought about it. “Been through the metro areas, Paris, Nantes, Calais… Not too much fun around there, too much noise. But that sounds nice, lavender fields…” And when he really thought about it, it sounded almost idyllic. “Sounds like an absolute dream.” He couldn’t help but laugh softly, though he knew that too much joy was unhealthy for him, that he especially was born of disapproval and anger, what tricksters thrived on.

Yosaku, had constantly been reminded growing up, that he should be careful of too much strong emotion in the positive area. Knowing why? Well he had no idea about that, but slowly He felt a newer feeling starting to build up in his chest, and possibly turned all the drinks at the bar much much sweeter than most would be able to handle, simply on accident as he would reach forwards to grab his own drink and sip at it. “Maybe you can go there some time.” He said almost like it were a secret or something. Another sip of his drink and he would stretch up, his back popping several times as he did so.

There’s was always a few warnings, ones he’d seen happen to others, but it wasn’t anything that he’d ever thought he’d have to be worried over. He usually wasn’t being sincere with his ‘happy’ feelings, usually just letting it be the cover so that people wouldn’t doubt him, it was more twisted than anything else. He reached for his own drink, chuckling some as he noted the taste. So, he wasn’t the only one craving a sweet treat, huh? “Only with a good tour guide. Someone who I can actually understand.” He offered up, wondering if the other realized that just maybe, he was trying to show a little more interest. Subtly, of course.

Ahh a small chuckle left him when he heard that little bit of interest from him, looking over at him just a bit coyly as he smirked a bit more from ear to ear. “Well, I know a good tour guide. Pretty interesting thing he is.” He spoke, as if he weren’t talking about himself. Another sip of the sweetened drink, and his hands would move to allow himself to rest his chin atop them. “Maybe I’ll introduce you two some time, though by the looks of it I think that you’d get along pretty well.”

“A little bit more out there, sorta.” he said, starting to get bored with the idle chit chat, but there was still this weird almost burning in his stomach...chest? He was trying to think of what that could be, taking a bit more of a sip, the drink literally just sugar at this point.

“So what’s the real reason you wanted to talk to me?” He asked out of what seemed to be nowhere, looking over at him and maybe got just a little bit too close to him than he realized.

A little bit of sweetness was always necessary he found out, trying to live without it was like trying to live without causing any trouble, completely against his nature and self. But something about that smile was feeding him almost, giving him more of a reason to keep talking, rather than have a major accident occur that pulled them all away from each other. “Bar fights huh?” A simple shrug, and though he’s not moved the glasses away, a little glint of light shows he’s paying perfect attention to the blond. “There’s no fun causing them, I’ve found.” Another quiet tap beneath the bar, and there goes a drink onto a gal’s lap, leaving her reaching to the seat next to her to throw her own onto some brunette. Both were drunk enough to start trying anything, and it seemed a cat fight was going to pop up. “Seems like they just start themselves though.” God he loved being able to control these little things.

Just barely he’d glance away at the other ones at the bar, holding in that laughter this time. Almost looking just a little bit bored, but that was to be expected.

Women weren’t ones that really caught his eyes, unless.. Well, unless they were going to seriously hurt each other.“Its true that they do tend to start themselves… Though…” A slightly snap of his fingers, looking like just a nervous habit of sorts since he did it a few times, would cause that of the brunette to react much more violently than expected, or rather, influenced by Johnny.

Yosaku may or may not be enjoying this more so.“So Johnny, where are you from?”

Women were the easiest to control, other than inanimate objects, mainly because most of their wills weren’t up to his brand of trickery. They just…didn’t have a chance. “Though?” He asked, almost softly, leaning in to focus more on Yosaku, and hell, didn’t they look a little out of place? He could already hear that men were cheering on the girls, the screeches that were echoing out reminding him of the ‘people’ he knew back home, the ones he’d left behind to try and find something more interesting than a village that was being overrun by technology. “Legapsi Village, in Makati City, the Philippines. Little place, really.” He shrugged some. “Not a very…interesting place in retrospect. What about you?”

Honestly, he hadn’t thought about where he was from in such a long time. It was rather small and didn’t have too many people there, to ‘help’ his parents in helping to hide what he was until he essentially gained control of himself fully.

“well. Simiane la Rotonde” He spoke as if it were a fond lover he hadn’t spoken of in years, just a slight accent showing through his words. “In Provence.” He said smiling lightly to himself as he did so. “I haven’t been back in years honestly. It was surrounded by lavender as far as the eye could see.. Quite a pretty place if you get the chance in your life at some point.”
