if you knew me circa 2011-2013 when i was at the height of my hirasawa fandom i am genuinely so sorry. not just because of the lethal levels of cringe but because i am just so embarrassed of the person i was. but at the same time i was 13 so i guess i shouldn't expect so much of myself in hindsight. maybe in a way i had to be Like That to grow into the person i am now. how crazy is it that i was part of the first generation of people whose adolescence was completely recorded firsthand for all the world to see? i turned 25 this year, and it feels like just months ago i was crying myself to sleep while listening to this senior citizen's music, pulling all nighters on a school night to watch him perform, etc. i still remember the smell of the air conditioner in that apartment. the person i was then feels like a stranger to me now

mostly i'm glad i've matured past getting so emotionally attached to actual real human people. 13 year olds are so cringe, i can't believe i was 13 once
