how long do you think this'll take to play? is it quite short or much longer

This is where, as a writer and editor of the script, I go hide behind blocks like Skizz on a Guess the Build reveal. Since we started the editing process for the first season’s script, it has maybe tripled in size? 

The thing is! Not every player will see all that the game has to offer, especially on a single playthrough, because of the different choices and paths you can take. We don’t yet have an idea of how long the gameplay will be, but the game retraces the eight episodes, so it definitely won’t be done in an hour. Lower estimate is 2 to 3 hours minimum. We’ll be able to give a more precise answer later in development.

We've come a very long way since the very beginning of this project, welcomed and farewelled many people, and truly bonded to become a team who work occasionally.
