Morons in the comments and RBs are puzzled by this lol. Listen, this is just a map of countries with mountains that are high enough to have glaciers and other types of permanent ice. 

Northeastern Europe is flat. Meanwhile, the Malay Archipelago is littered with high mountains and volcanoes.
