thinking about it TMNT is probably the only western franchise that rarely revisits past iterations of itself. outside of toys and iirc one season of the 2003 cartoon, it refreshes itself often and sticks to the latest continuity

noticed there's been a large uptick in megaman x fangames in recent years

really used to be only classic megaman games being announced, so it's nice to see X get lots of love now

tho i doubt star force or battle network fangames are next bc those games are much larger in scope
