Thank you so much to the people that have expressed excitement at this idea and encouraged me! He’s been a favorite character of mine for decades now and I’ve always wanted to plan something like this for a character that I felt was underrated and overlooked, and over the years it’s been lovely meeting other fans that love him as much as I do here on tumblr. I like to think about the difference between humans and demons a lot when it comes to yyh, and I like to think about how the boys will feel as Kuwabara ages. The thought of Hiei dealing with it has been knocking on my brain lately, since I'd like to see how Hiei, "unfeeling, we aren't friends," Hiei, would deal with a friend who fades away in what might be a short amount of time for him. Just thoughts I am having.

I do. It's still a rough draft from like years ago and I haven't revisited it in a while but it always sat on my head though. In my mind, I have like 3 novel length worth of fanfic for it but my physical body is too lazy to write 😔

The Demon World Monthly returns!!!

I have been gone for a long time but I have returned to celebrate, though late, the 2nd anniversary of our beloved magazine! This time we feature the ruling family of the territory of former Gandara!

Yomi, Shura and my Oc!

There is also a story video included featuring a conversation between a senior guard and a new guard. Tidbits of my fanfic story can be glimpsed here! Yomi and his family is currently on vacation in the human world (they're not in japan though, since he wants to escape the bothersome spirit world forces-and you guys can probably guess where they are from the clothing) and the fireworks really fascinates the young Shura!

Another note: The poppy flower is August's flower of the Month along with Gladiolus. Orang colored poppy specifically, denotes health and regeneration hinting at the fate of Shura (and Yomi eventually) after almost dying until my Oc finds and saves him. The daisy on her hair on the other hand, alludes to her personality and role as it means purity, innocence, new beginnings, joy and cheerfulness.

Well this is a rather long post but I hope you guys enjoy this illustration. I'm also reopening my commissions if anyone is interested!

Novaleigh went through life as unlucky as one person could be, unsure of who she was as a person.
