"Sandy, catch it!" the request comes before any kind of 'welcome back' or 'did everything go well?', Gran's finger instead pointing to the other side of the ship where the (hopefully) dried bedsheets had taken flight. A sudden, strong gust of wind catching them from where they had been supposed to be hanging, and thus giving Sandalphon, as the only one nearby capable of flight, yet another job onto his list. - @toestalucia
he had left the ship to check on a few things . important things that needed to be seen with his own eyes . something that should not be here , but could possibly be here . that left the primach ( something that he wears with pride now for his dear friend ) adeventure on his own for sometime , leaving the crew , the people that buried their way into his life . he did give notice , a heads up , && of course with how gran is letting him go , but to make sure he comes back home .
the grand cycpher will always be his home .
around three to four months has passed since he left , && he had return , his own findings left him puzzled , concerned , but content so far . as soon as he gets ready to set foot on the ship , his wings still out , he hears his name called out ( that nickname that has grew to him that he reacts to it as if were his own name ) . he looks as he notices the bedsheet flying towards the otherside of the ship . he lets out a tsk ' nonsense ' before flying over to the bedsheet , grabbing it with both hands as he exhales .
" your bedsheets seem to greet me before you do . you were lucky that i had showed up when i did . " he speaks to the captain as he glides over to the ship haul , still above gran as he stares at him with an unimpressed look . welcome back sandalphon . the grandcypher even missed you too .
