renji told her she didn’t have to go to school - even nori and rei agreed, and afton vouched for her, as well. but she went. she wanted so badly to be brave for the others, but… apparently, that was a little too much for her.

she feels a familiar warmth, a familiar scent nearby and that’s when yuri’s arms wrap around primula. she gasps, at first - not used to yuri being so bold and forward with her feelings. but the embrace is quickly returned - it’s appreciated, and she was so glad for yuri’s presence in that very moment.

“… i’m sorry,” primula whispers, head leaning against yuri’s shoulders. “… i’m sorry.”

         seeing her in her peripherals opens her eyes to how truly close she is, but she doesn’t shrink away when she feels natsuki’s hand on her sho- ulder. the smile on her lips is so infectiously sweet, &. it makes her knees tremble &. her pulse race. “i- it does smell really nice.. &. it suits you..”
