Sorry, cast reveal has been delayed! I've been kinda busy this month - not that much more busy than I was in the fall, but too busy to get a new season ready.
The offer is still open to recommend any object shows you want represented in the next season!! I would love for the casting process to be partially viewer decided as well ^^
My thoughts: I would love to do VTS, as I think it will prove a better indicator of the very best contestants of the season. However, VTS requires a minimum of ~50 votes to actually work properly (because you need every contestant to get votes to avoid ties). We've gotten there on occasion before, but choosing VTS is a commitment that y'all will keep on voting throughout the season, especially at the beginning!

Since obviously I have nothing to do right now, I decided instead I'd share every single vote I cast during the season. Yes, I voted on my own polls, for two primary reasons:
It's nice to know how the polls are looking before they close, and I often write new episodes while the poll is still active. (And a "see results" option like @/vocaloidsongtournament does seems unnessecary and might skew results imo)
I'm an OSC fan too, and I want to participate in the OSC Tumblr Viewer Voting as much as you do! ^^ (That's why I made it lol)
If you don't like that I do this, then sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (If it helps, my vote has only directly affected the outcome of two eliminations, and that could be true of any viewer!)
But anyways, here's all the contestants I voted for throughout the season, as well as a brief explanation of why. Just for fun, I'll also throw in who I would have voted for if the show had been vote to save!
(Note: This post is very rambly, and contains a lot of meandering thoughts, so I've chosen to include a cut here so you can scroll past this if you want to ^^)
Part 1 (Team Wario Land 4) - Chainsaw
Part 2 (Team Kirby Super Star Ultra) - Moonlight
I put these two together because I was pretty consistant in my early votes, so these two parts reflect most of my voting throughout the first dozen or so polls. Chainsaw is far and away my least favourite contestant of the season, because of the narrative role he plays in PPT2. (That's not to say he's a bad character, and I think he deserves the place he got. It's like voting to eliminate in the late stage of a really good show - all the characters deserve to win, so it's mostly down to personal preference who you vote for.)
Meanwhile, Moonlight is just kind of boring imo, and I am genuinely so surprised with how far she got in the season (especially with how iconic the Tiny Tacos are within the TDOS community compared to her). Both of these characters were added to the VV because I love their shows, but couldn't think of any more iconic characters to add to the roster at the time (tbh, this whole blog was very hastily put together at the beginning lol), so they're the only two characters in the whole show that I don't really like. I still haven't rewatched either show since then, so I don't have any better ideas for who I should have added (maybe Ukulele and Water Bottle?), but that's what we've got.
For my Save Votes, I'd probably go with either Record or Dalgo-ja for Team WL4 (I talk about both of these characters later) and KSSU, followed by Grabby for Team KSSU (my love of KSSU is no secret, and I love Team Room 125 as well!)
Like I said, my votes were very consistent in the early game:

Part 13b (Everyone UFE) - Chainsaw (you would not believe my disappointment when Chainsaw was finally eliminated only to be immediately replaced by Moonlight... who had just gottne out :/), safe Dalgo-ja
Now feels like a good time to talk about Dalgo-ja. While she's not nessecarily the best character in the roster, she's from a very awesome Korean show and is... let's say a very cool woman. (I tried to not make it weird, did I succeed?) I knew from the get-go that she was going to be unpopoular among viewers who hadn't seen KorFC because of how weird she seems at a glance, and by the time the merge hit she had very clearly established herself as an underdog, narrowly escaping elimination a remarkable number of times. Even now, she remains one of the most voted contestants, behind only the two late-game rejoiners, Catball (who had a very wonky elimination) and Plasma Ball. I knew she was never going to win, but was secretly rooting for her pretty much the entire way just to see how far she got. I was shocked when she survived part 14 (that was the first elimination where my vote affected the outcome, because I voted for Silver Spoon) and think she ultimately did very well for herself, although I honestly think Catball should have gotten out before her. Anyways, I think Dalgo-ja is cool.
Part 14 (Duos) - Silver Spoon, save Dalgo-ja (I've already talked enough about this one lol)
Part 15 (Duos) - Whippy Creamy, save Record. Even though Moonlight was in this vote, as the rejoiner she is inherently more interesting than WC. Also Record is best girl :3
Part 16 (Duos) - Leafy, save Limey. Thus begins my late-game Leafy hate, simply because she very quickly became the least interesting character left in the game. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching her in BFB, but I also love Test Tube, Record, Plasma Ball, Catball, heck, even Charlotte. Aside from Whippy Creamy (and maybe Moonlight), there is no contestant in the Top 12 who I wanted to see win less than Leafy. I suspect she has suffered from the "floater" effect that often happens with VTE... sigh... (And I correctly called that Limey was probably at risk here, although i thought he stood a good chance to rejoin... Which I guess he almost did!)
Part 17 (Trios) - Leafy, save Plasma Ball. I think I've made my reasoning for this one pretty clear already.
Since Dalgo-ja is about to get eliminated, my VTS is always Record, backup Plasma Ball. (Honestly was so surprised when Record got eliminated... she's the best girl 😭)
Part 18 (Second Merge) - Catball (I correctly guess that one of the KorFC contestants was definitely gonna lose, so I tried to save my underdog)
Part 19 (Second Merge) - Moonlight (her rejoin shield had worn off by this point)
Part 20 (Second Merge) - Leafy
Part 21 (Second Rejoin) - KSSU (obviously). The contestant I would have least wanted to rejoin would have to be Chainsaw, because Moonlight rejoining twice would be hillarious.
Part 21.5 - My favourite object show of the twelve is Brawl of the Objects! I picked these shows because I love all of them, but my twelfth favourite is probably TDOS.
Part 22 (Individual Immunity) - Whippy Creamy (Seriously, why did you all vote him back in)
Part 23 - Leafy
Part 24 - Whippy Creamy (that was the second time I tied up the vote... but also Plasma Ball was ahead right up until the last moment, which actually caught me off guard, so I think I can be excused for this one lol)

Part 26 - Why would I tell you that? That poll's still ongoing! I'm not gonna potentially skew the finale! (Although if you really want to know, it's really not hard to piece together my opinions on all three of the finalists lol)

Last time there was a rejoin, I ran a regular elimination while the rejoin was going on, but this close to the end, I decided I'd play with some statistics instead!
Here's a spreadsheet I made showing voting data :D
The rejoin numbers are negative because they're "good" votes, as opposed to the bad votes contestants recieve most episodes. That means we've actually recieved a total of 570 votes, not 530. That's an average of 27 votes per episode!
Obviously, the further you get into the season, the more votes you accumulate. However, it's worthwhile to mention some standout contestants: Catball, who has the most votes, half of which she recieved at her elimination; Dalgo-ja, the season-long underdog who has the second most; Big Orange Chicken and Inhaler, who have the most votes of the contestants eliminated before the halfway point; Leafy, who has the most votes of contestants still in the game, and Record, who has the least; finally, Charlotte was the last contestant to recieve a vote, only getting her first four when everyone was UFE in part 13. She has gotten a comparatively large number of votes in every elimination she's been in since.
If the numbers are too hard for you to wrap your head around, don't worry, I made some (not very pretty) graphs, too!
The first part had the most votes of any poll, which both does and doesn't make sense to me, although it makes me very happy that we've been getting almost as many votes in recent polls! ^^ That spike in the middle is from episode 13, but not the rejoin poll! The rejoin was actually one of the less voted polls, which I find strange and annoying.
I also counted all of the notes each post has recieved (as of November 22nd), and compared that to the vote count (which should roughly correspond to the number of people who "watched the episode")!
The number of notes per episode remains roughly consistent, so it looks mostly like a skewed reversal of the above graph, although there's still some interesting patterns here. The posts with the most notes overall are parts 17, 20, and 5. I have no idea why part 5 specifically recieved so many notes, especially right in the middle of a vote slump near the beginning of the show. Maybe it's because it got reblogged by @/sharebuttonoffical?
That's all the stats I've got to share, but I'm sure you're still hungry for another poll, so I've added a little just-for-fun poll at the bottom here! This will have no effect on the VV, I'm just curious ^^
