The rain is falling, no one's calling. I fear my life is at an end.

The thunder's clapping the trees are laughing as the downpour begins.

I can't catch my breath, I'm going deaf why is the wind so loud again?

The hails hurling, while my hurts unfurling these waves never seem to end.

The rays are peaking through this dreary and downcast, the soft warmth in all this thick fog.

The dew that blankets the path I walk wants me to fall, slippery like my thoughts in this suffocating climate.

Those peaking rays illuminate all the good that once was but could never be again.

Down the hill I follow trying to grasp at those rays, come back to me oh better days come back to me, and let all this fog dissipate.

My feet are getting heavy and I can't keep up The dew is getting thick and I just might give up.

I plead with the spiraling wind, "When you dance too fast, you rip the roots out of those mighty trees that give shelter to those in need"

Through the clouds I see you shine, those peaking rays a hope that guides.

Like a ghost I move in silence in this world

Unseen

Like a person with an invisibility cloak I can go wherever do whatever and no one would notice

Can you feel my presence? Do you feel the hair on your arms rise like something isn't right or that you're not alone when you walk by this invisible person? Or are you a ghost too? Are you also a ghost walking through this world lost in your own mind and problems?

Matters of the heart consumes my mind they remind me everyday I'm losing time

trapped behind these racing thoughts and emotions

The lies that feel so true

Robotic lives that feel so blue

We're just blowing in the wind till the dust settles

Creating echos fading against the tides

Until we take are resting place in the sky

She was Pink and he was Pride, he never could get her by his side.

The loathsome feelings she bore for him, showed prettily upon her skin.

Who knows what story would write of them, if pink and pride had danced instead.

I watched a movie about you today, small images flashed of the beautiful life you left behind.

Gental smiles, and congenial times

Snippets of triumph, and silliness lit the screen

Featuring you as the Star

A celebration of life sat in our laps, as words of last goodbyes were said at the podium

But all i could see through the tears that fell from my eyes was a Angel that was too far from reach.

They say the good die young but the wicked die old, thats why your dancing in Aurora filled skys tonight, while i think of you in this dreary nightmare thats life.

Blooming with beauty the Rose grows

ascending into places unknown

spreading it's petals in flair,

With the light and beauty in air

Rose doesn't know its own thorns are there

to protect it from lifes harsh care

as Roses beauty fades away Roses petals will wilt away

though life was short but sweet

the Rose will still grow in serendipity

I have this vision its so whimsical, it's like the wind.

Ever changing and hard to catch.

It rustles the leaves of my sanity,

to tempt me and pluck me away

From the tree of this life and all I have ever known.

I feel it on my body

pushing me forward like a gust of wind blowing from a hurricane beckoning me forward

until I fall over these cliffs of doubt and uncertainty

To dive into a sea of unimaginable depth and treasures.

To swim in creativity,

to let the worries and inhibitions of life melt away

and wash free.

Looking at myself through this broken mirror

I think to myself, has my image ever been clearer?

With shards scattered all about, its those small pieces of my soul you said you could do without

My soul broke while you tried to shove me in your box

A lifetime spent suppressing my true self, like a painted doll you created yourself

Distorted pictures of half smiles and lies

She couldn't take that life anymore, so she left you to die

The one you created is gone and buried pushing daisies to the sky

While I'm standing here looking at myself through that broken mirror, asking myself has my image ever been clearer?
