Obama at his first State of the Union Address and his last one

If you’re a Non-Muslim and you see a Muslim praying in public, could you please not pass in front of them?
Go behind them, but not in front. 👍
Oh, signal boost! I didn’t know this.
Okay, but also: if you see a Muslim praying in public and they have something in front of them, like a purse or a bag or something like that, you can pass in front of them, but pass in front of that object.
it’s called a sutrah, and it’s meant to act as a physical barrier between the person praying and someone who might happen to pass in front.
Also, if you did this and didn’t know, please don’t beat yourself up over it. Now you know! Muslims aren’t supposed to pass in front of Muslims praying, either, because prayer is communication with God and you don’t want to break that connection.
Spread culture, respect customs, be good people. Simple as that.
reblog if ur mom is smart and beautiful
This is one of my favorite sites on here because everyone who reblogged it truly believes it because their moms won’t actually see it
One thing I like about Pixar films is how the happy ending isn’t always what you think it’ll be. The toys don’t go with Andy to college, Gusteau’s restaurant gets closed down, Mike and Sully get kicked out of university, Carl never gets Ellie to Paradise Falls. But they find out that what they wanted isn’t necessarily what they needed, and I really like the fact that kids get to learn that life doesn’t always turn out the way they dreamed and that’s okay.
*watching dj khaleds snapchat* me: here we go Dj khaled: lets go see what we gon have for breakfast today Both of us at the same time: chicken sausage, egg whites, and water.. key to success
They don’t want you to have breakfast, if you think they want you to have breakfast you crazy.
Chef D, show em the breakfast they don’t want us to have. Bless up.
i want to wear a huge, beautiful dress and run down a castle hallway at least ONCE
I can’t believe we live in a world where the idea of helping people fleeing from war and famine is a controversial issue.
can i vote for the eagle that attacked trump
can I skip to the part of my life where I’m financially stable and have someone to sleep next to every night
Last night President Obama wrote a very sweet welcome note to the scientist in Tuesday’s story.
concept: me going to bed early, in a freshly made bed, with a clean room and all my homework finished
the whole “why do girls travel in packs when they go to the bathroom lol” joke gets a lot less funny when you realize that it’s because we’ve had it etched and engraved into our minds since our parents first started dropping us off at the movies or at the mall that we absolutely always need to stick together with our girlfriends no matter what, even when we go to the bathroom, because the bigger the group we were in, the smaller the chances were of us being harassed or abducted by creepy older men in public.
