The world is on fire That's just normal
Keep it casual not so formal,
Data centers being built left and right,
That the normal people try to protest and fight
Going unheard because we don't have the money
Saying we have a democracy It's a joke right that's funny.
We stood in front of people who were supposed to amplify our voice,
Instead they laughed at us and said it's their choice,
Their pockets lined with dirty compensation
What is astounding is their dissociation.
Acting like what they're doing won't affect them too,
Their own greed has led them askew,
But when The air is smog and the water runs dry,
What will that money be able to buy?
The right to vote has become an illusion,
Unless you're rich and powerful you're on a list of exclusion,
Even the brands that you buy don't really exist,
"Healthy foods" Like Dave's killer bread and late July,
One big conglomerate, one big lie.
Pumping poisons into our air, water and food,
When did our regulations become so corrupted and lewd?
Held divided, and Liberty unjust,
This is the America that we've come to distrust.
Doesn't matter if you're left winged or right,
It's the same damn bird that we need to fight.
