Reciprocating the hug, the violinist shut his eyelids for a mere seconds before fluttering them open again, slender fingers lacing with light blue locks. "Yeah, I know, but really, everyone would have fussed about me endlessly if I just told you guys. Also, I had to rest as much as I could, and I know that at least one person would have called me 24/7. So that wouldn't have worked that well." Smiling again, he nodded slowly. "Good to be back."

You went away to get a transplant?” Cerys couldn’t help herself, carefully touching over the mark as if to be sure it was fully healed before looking up to him again. “It doesn’t hurt anymore then?”

His voice trailed off, along with his line of thoughts, before he sighed once more. "I'll show you." It was the best thing he could do, no? And Cerys deserved to know about it. Lifting his shirt, he revealed a small scar on his thorax, smiling sheepishly. "So I kinda got a new heart..."
