I was keeping this blog on hiatus until summer and then considering coming back but nope. I'm done.

I have my personal blog and I'll stick to that. I don't need this stress on top of everything else I have going on in my life and I don't need the blatant accusations. I get enough of that from my parents.

I'm not going to just sit here and let myself get hurt like this.

I will be keeping my blog up though, so don't worry guys. You will still have access to all of my walkthroughs, screenies, posted CGs, whatever, to help you and and let you enjoy your games.

First of all: how is saying you hope you don’t go to jail for “murder” being overactive in a seemingly positive light? To me, that’s suggestive of you being the culprit in the anons, but maybe I’m just missing something. I’m not sure what how you’re trying to help but to me, I’m not sure your intentions came off right. And, for the record, dear, it’s terrible about your friend (or whomever it was) but don’t act like you’re the only person in the world who has had to deal with suicide. It’s (sadly) more prevalent than you think, and it rather irks me to be used as a defense for some phrasing that I don’t understand.

Second of all, I was asking because I was HOPING that it was something out of context and we just missed it. Thank you, but bullying someone over their post is EXACTLY what we’re all trying to avoid here.

You’re not going to force that culprit to feel bad and it’s definitely not sending them the right message. You’re only encouraging their behavior by RETURNING their behavior. Be the better person.

All I am referring to is the bully and the target (which, for the record, is what you call someone who has been hurt by bullying—target, not victim). According to every book and seminar I’ve been exposed to on cyber bullying, you support the target with positive reinforcement and you try to pull them back from the bully. It’s much easier to support a target than attack a bully—AND it’s much more effective.

So, yes, I do think that’s what’s best. And, thank you so fucking much, but the researchers are saying the same damn thing, too. Support positively. Don’t return bullying behaviors (such as telling someone you want to murder them). Don’t believe me? Look it up online and educate yourself, because that’s what I spent four years doing, thank you very much.

And I’m sorry Deneca’s support post has turned into this, but you know what? I just don’t see how that first message is helping any.

I have not been to bullying seminars or studied this stuff but I have been a victim of bullying. A lot. And by people who are supposed to be my support hotline (i.e. my family). So even though you don’t think it’s okay for that comment to be posted, understand that the things you are also saying about this can come across as a form of bullying. I was also taken by surprise when you started cursing at me.

I’m not trying to “be a better friend.” I’ve physically talked to her on the phone multiple times, and I have gotten to know her a bit. She’s aware of catgh0st and her types of comments, so she takes them lightly rather taking them to heart. But from a person on the outside of that, I can understand your concern. I didn’t mean to convey that sort of message.

Then again, not everything we see is what it seems, and maybe asking questions first rather then making assumptions is a better approach?

In addition, I’d like to tell you that I never said that I’m an expert on these things, so please don’t make it out that I ever claimed so. I’m simply correcting this silly misunderstanding.

Catgh0st is a tough cookie, but she has a heart just like the rest of us.

Okay, you know what? If we’re going to play that card lemme just say this: I was bullied every day in school for my entire school career, Pre-K through 12th grade. I was further verbally abused by my mother since I was six and was physically abused a few times as well. So, thank you, I like to think I know where I’m coming from.

Furthermore, I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive over something so asinine. If you recall, I WAS asking in the beginning, perfectly innocently and quite hoping to be wrong. Also, I wasn’t cursing AT you. If I was, I would have used nouns but never once did I call you anything. I simply was upset at being so personally attacked and fell back on those verbs to try and express my emotions.

So you signed up because you had nothing to lose and every time you logged in, you smiled. You smiled and you laughed and you interacted with people and it got to the point where you stopped logging out because you didn't want to miss out on that fun, that sense of community. You stopped logging out because you didn't want to leave.

That's what tumblr is for. It's a happy place. It's your happy place.

And because it's your happy place, it can be whatever you damn well please. It can have whatever ships you want, whatever gifs you want, whatever headcanons or fandoms you want, whatever pictures or music you want--anything. Anything you like is welcome there because it's YOURS.
