Help wanted - see sneak-peeks!

Hey, guys! I am one half of the team for Ourani, an upcoming virtual pet website set on an alien planet. 

Ourani is not just a virtual pet website - it's an online portal to a fantastic planet. Breed and accessorize countless unique creatures, explore the wide world of Ourani with other players in the avatar chat, play games together, and test the mettle of your pets in combat.

We are looking for people potentially interested in helping test and give feedback on features we develop, such as the forum, games, and other things. These people will get exclusive sneak-peek access to various ideas, demos, and prototypes as the website comes together. We are still in the early stages of working on things, but when it comes time these users will also be granted access to Ourani's alpha testing.

As a thank-you for their time, these users will receive some of our premium (normally paid) currency and another exclusive surprise gift when we open.

Hi, everyone! This is a fairly early test for a game mode we will be implementing into Ourani - we thought everyone might have some fun trying it out, while they are waiting for more Ourani news!

A few notes: The final edition will have many more items and features. You will be able to find permanent and rare pet accessories in the final edition! The final edition will have better (larger) graphics, and will fit well even on small monitors. The final edition will have a more balanced difficulty. This game is supposed to be difficult and require careful strategy (and trial and error - you probably won't win your first few plays!), but we don't want it to be too frustrating - that's where you come in, players! If you feel like certain aspects of the game are too easy, or if there is one particular way you seem to die most rounds of the game, go ahead and post a message! Have fun! If you have any questions, shoot a message and we will answer as promptly as we can.

We're working on another prototype - this time for a game! We'll be releasing a more complete version for people to fiddle with soon. The game is a roguelike - the goal is to explore the randomly generated floors finding items and fighting monsters, trying to descend as deep into the dungeon as you can!

Small update

Hey everyone! I know we've been quiet for awhile; thought you might like a small update on what's going on behind the scenes.  We have been running some tests with a simplified shop system behind the scenes, and I am currently working on a prototype forum system.  It is coming along swimmingly so far. Our forum is going to update in realtime (rather like a shoutbox would) so people don't have to constantly refresh to see new posts; this requires creating a full system from scratch. We've slowed down for a little bit so Clovette and I can focus on our individual personal work (both of us freelance and are also full time students), but this is an intentional break and we will be actively resuming Ourani development soon!
