The National Coalition Against Censorship reports that ‘The Spirit of Harlem’ glass mosaic mural which has proudly stood at 125th Street and Frederick Douglas Boulevard since 2006 has been covered up by Footaction (which is owned by Foot Locker) as they remodeled the exterior of their store.

Non Union Construction Sites Harming Public Safety

Early last Monday on November 27th, FDNY personnel rushed to Chelsea in response to a gas leak. Six buildings were evacuated by the firefighters in case of an explosion.

The @nypd 52nd Precinct in The #Bronx is, dare we say, the most beautiful in #nyc. Just biked right by and it always takes my breath away. Located on Webster Avenue straddling #BedfordPark and #Norwood it was built as the 41st Precinct in 1906.
