Overhead Universe

"Overhead universe" presents the sellection of different interactions with analog projector, showing how through recycling, the dimentions of creativity is unlimited. Andrei Mărginean is visual artist based in Transilvania. His artistic approach could be identified as reflections between a cockroach and satellites, recycling thoughts and junk memories. Projection works might accompany musical or theatrical performances, enriched with drawings and paintings. Also, he works in various mixed media to express an everchanging landscape of vivid thoughts. Last but not least, Andrei is a skillful photographer, who encapsulates in his pieces an array of feelings and states of mind. [email protected]

Studio experiment about the fusion of time by overlaying digital and overhead projections. The capture of a bath oil, where slowly colorful drops of ink are falling in an expanded mixture. On the overhead surface a forgotten tomato slice slowly disintegrate in a pot of water.
