[Hey Anutek, do you know how to find a possibly-currently-feral Solver drone?]

[It's a time sensitive question and Bird's missing]

[How long has she been missing? I’ll have wraith squads equipped with stasis field projectors be deployed to your planet to try and help track her.]

[I’ll also bring a Chronomancer to observe anything that occurred within the last 24 hours.]

Neither noticed Anutek immediately, both just reliefed to see the other. But it ended when the half possessed Solver drone noticed him in the corner of her eye. And like a switch, her smile became forced and her body grew tense, the digits on her wings digging into the ground as she let out a throaty growl. Yellow starting to bleed into her other optic.

Anutek moved to the side a bit, his Hyperphase Glaive materializing in his hands.

The hybrid noticed the glaive, unknowingly inching between Anutek and her partner as she look up at him with hollowed optics. All the while Bird, just continued to growl, bits of oil-blood infused drool dripping from her mouth.

Anutek held his position, unmoving, before quickly pulling out the Stasis field emitter and activating it, creating a field of frozen time around Bird.

Bird barely got the chance to lung before it went off, freezing her in place with her mouth opened, an arm slightly raised and her wings, weirdly enough, pushing her forwards at an angle that like it shouldn't been at the least uncomfortable.

Unfortunately she was still close enough to Cake that she got caught in the field too.

Anutek messed with the Emitter’s controls until the field only encompassed the bottom half of Bird, essentially paralyzing her from the waist down and preventing her from going anywhere.

The Solver drone snapped her jaws at Anutek, letting out loud, raspy screeches, the feathers on her hunches raising a she tried to swipe at him.

Meanwhile, the hybrid just watched, stunned and worried at her partner's current behavior.

Anutek looked down at Cake. “How do we get her to calm down?”

Cake didn't immediately respond, her half fried brain desperately trying to find something but non of it was coherent. "I-I don't know." She blurted, watching her girlfriend continue growl and screech at Anutek. Her blue eye becoming increasingly more yellow.

Anutek approached Bird. “Her eyes are turning yellow.”

Bird continued to screech, only to stop when the yellow took over her eyes. Now just staring at Anutek, a forced on her face.

Cake then went over to Anutek, hollowed violet optics staring at the Solver drone who had switched her focus to her. But didn't make an attempt to move.

Anutek wave his free hand in front of Bird’s face.

Yellow optics watched the hand, not even reacting to it, just staring.

"Okay, that's... A little weird." The hybrid chimed, rubbing the back of her neck.

Anutek put his hand closer.

"Bird" doesn't react.

Anutek pulls his hand back, slowly goes over to grasp the Hyperphase Glaive, and then quickly swings the Glaive over in a striking motion, stopping and pulling it back right as it’s millimeters away from Bird’s face.

Again, "Bird" didn't react.

Cake did though, face flashing with fear, stepping closer with her arm raised to grab him, just to be confused before realising what was going on and taking a step back. Now watching the currently yellow eyed Solver drone.

Anutek repeated the action several times.

Each time, "Bird" didn't react, keeping her eyes on Anutek.

“I think she’s waiting for me to turn off my stasis field.”

"She could also be watching what you'll do." The hybrid pointed out walking closer to Anutek. "I don't think Bird knows what you can do and if this is who V's yelling at me that is, then they don't know either." She mumbled a part of it, trying to make sure that the possessed Solver drone wouldn't overhear.

But they clearly did, tilting it's head as it stared at the drone, it smile somehow widening.

“She heard you. Your theory might be correct, she could be not reacting so I’ll try more things to get her to react.”

"I don't think it will if this isn't Bird. It likes to play with it's food so it'll just enjoy itself." She sneered, tail harshly flicking.

The wider smile didn't fade. Just to creak when a small part of optics flickered a deep lapis blue, it wasn't much but it was something.

“Then we should wait, let it get bored.”

Cake didn't respond, instead just choosing to sit down. Prompting her leg up before resting her head against her palm, yawning a bit.

Several lights fire off from Anutek’s body, and something is teleported near him, it’s a literal throne, a teal throne with golden accents. Anutek sits in it and stares at Bird.

The three stayed there for a while, no-one speaking and the only movement coming from Cake occasionally looking at the ever purpling sky, her wire tail curled tightly behind her back, hiding a nervous twitch.

All the while, The Solver stared. The blue refusing to leave the optics, steadily growing but the sky seemed to change faster. The two drones feeling their skin start to itch as the first warm coloured hues started to break through the sky.

Anutek fired off more lights, and the Lord’s Gaze appeared overhead, moving to use itself to block the sun.

It was a sigh of relief for the hybrid, feeling the itching ease, it didn't fully go away but it was better than being fried by the sun.

And those, the waiting match continued. The speck of blue still growing.

As the waiting continued, the Lord’s Gaze could be seen repositioning as the sun rose.

Eventually, it was night again, Cake having fallen asleep with her head against her knuckles. The Solver staring at her as she slept, still unmoving, an optic now two-thirds a deep blue but had seemed to have stopped there.

That changed when it's optic shifted, nothing immediately noticeable but it was looking at something behind.

Anutek turned his head to the side, one optic focused on Bird, the other on whatever was behind.

[OVERLORD ANUTEK: I see that your son has been activated, Alex. I am approaching your planet as I send this.]

[Just-Alex] Yes! I think messaging u slipped my mind. [Just-Alex] Had a lot to do suddenly haha

Alex sighed, leaning into more of a sitting position. Ash, whom she was laying against, looked over his shoulder from the work that Glass and Viper were working on with him.

"Mam?"

"Friend is coming to visit and meet you." She pat his side, smiling a little as his tail wagged.

"Oh! I am excited!" He turned back to Glass and Viper. "I will finish this first, so that I do not have a bad stopping point."

"Smart boy." Glass laughed a little.

"It can be anything. I think we're fine not seeing everything in your pockets." Alex laughed softly.

"Mam keeps many things in her pockets as well!" Ash nodded.

Anutek points at Alex. “GET ‘EM!” A scarab, with a teal abdomen, gold head, silver body and legs, of which there were only 4, flies out of the dimensional pocket at Alex. It is worth nothing it doesn’t actually harm her, just flies at her very, very fast.

"WHA-" Alex, being unprepared for such a thing, ended up flailing and falling off the couch in an attempt to get up. Ash's head whipped around to look at his mother, but he didn't really show too much of a reaction unless you counted the way his tail shifted from having a tuft of hair at the end to having a thin curved blade on it.

AUCA flew around over Alex before returning to Anutek, who at this point was laughing a bit.

"Sneaky!" Alex called out as she got off the floor, Ash laughing softly as his wagging tail shifted back to a tuft of fluff.

Anutek opened his hand, and AUCA landed on it.

“This is AUCA, a specialized Canoptek made by my Crypteks with the specific purpose of being an assistant, such as being able to spy on people, help manage economy, spy on people even more, spy on people in other universes, flying directly at my friends, stuff like that.”

"That's pretty useful. Not the flying at friends thing, but like... the other stuff." Alex laughed a little bit.

“AUCA actually helps manage an entire system of Canopteks I have hidden in different universe to spy on people. There’s some Canopteks I’ve hidden Titanium-28, there’s Canopteks I’ve hidden on several version of Copper-9, there’s hidden Canopteks in the Cube, there’s hidden Canopteks here, there’s hidden Canopteks everywhere being managed by me and AUCA to spy on people.”

"That's only a little weird." Alex shook her head. "But... only slightly."

Ash blinked, seeming to take in the information.

“Better reaction than I expected.”

AUCA was seen heading over to Santek, both began firing off light displays, perhaps communicating with each other.

"Eh... Being the position I'm in, there's always people watching me in some way. If I lived in a city like most of the others, there'd probably be people trying to peek in my windows and stuff for some tabloid or news story."

“And you’re not concerned that I’m watching literally everyone else?”

"Eh... I don't think you'd really do anything to interfere too much." Alex shrugged. "It's... a complicated feeling I guess. I'm used to it, and it feels normal. Probably not a good thing for someone out of my position."

“True. The most interference I want to do is help hunt down Rae.”

"I want to help too, but I guess Spectre is determined to handle that since Titanium is her home and all." Alex shrugged. "I did give Bishop one of my patches, and I studied Tera's a little bit... Gotta get back to that, the USB is still functional..."

"Mam said I could go visit and help with the excuse of a sleepover with Ai!" Ash grinned wide, all sharp teeth. "I need to ask that soon!" His tail wagged.

“Didn’t that USB ‘bite you’ one time?”

"Not important." Alex waved a hand. "It's just a little strong. Never had Primary Host data before."

“True… I’m deploying a 5 individual strong Warrior Phalanx to guard you at all times.”

"I don't think that's-"

"Thank you!" Ash smiled brightly as he cut his mother off, tail wagging. She raised a brow at the back of his head, but was ignored.

“I think I’ll have 4 with close quarters Gauss Reapers and 1 with a long range gauss flayer.”

Alex sighed and rubbed her face while her son just wagged his tail.

"We trust you with whatever you choose." He nodded.

“Maybe I’ll have them follow Alex literally everywhere and they get to fire at anyone who is Alex’s enemies without any warning.”

"That might be a bit too far." Ash tilted his head. "Mam can handle herself. I am mostly concerned about issues with things that are not as easy for a human to handle."

“How about we have an anti-matter weaponry policy, and yes I own anti-matter weapons, where conduct an anti-matter bombardment as a warning shot?” It’s clear by this point that he’s probably joking.

Ash laughed softly, tail wagging as he was a little amused by the jest.

"Maybe we just stick to me being an adult and handling things myself?" Alex raised a brow.

“How about I place the containment cores for the energy supply of Doomsday Weapons on your enemies’ planets and have scarabs breach the cores to annihilate the planets?”

"Noooooooo." Alex sounded a little exasperated.

“Actually how about we destroy everything, just restart the universe maybe we’ll get a timeline where the Solver never existed.”

"That wipes us with it though." Alex waved a finger. "I, being a stubborn and angry woman, would still not give up on trying to fix the broken thing that no longer exists."

Ash looked at her, a silent stare. Alex did not look back.

“What if I tactically relocated you and your allies and your drones and ash to my tombworld and then remade the universe?”

Anutek points at Alex. “GET ‘EM!” A scarab, with a teal abdomen, gold head, silver body and legs, of which there were only 4, flies out of the dimensional pocket at Alex. It is worth nothing it doesn’t actually harm her, just flies at her very, very fast.

"WHA-" Alex, being unprepared for such a thing, ended up flailing and falling off the couch in an attempt to get up. Ash's head whipped around to look at his mother, but he didn't really show too much of a reaction unless you counted the way his tail shifted from having a tuft of hair at the end to having a thin curved blade on it.

AUCA flew around over Alex before returning to Anutek, who at this point was laughing a bit.

"Sneaky!" Alex called out as she got off the floor, Ash laughing softly as his wagging tail shifted back to a tuft of fluff.

Anutek opened his hand, and AUCA landed on it.

“This is AUCA, a specialized Canoptek made by my Crypteks with the specific purpose of being an assistant, such as being able to spy on people, help manage economy, spy on people even more, spy on people in other universes, flying directly at my friends, stuff like that.”

"That's pretty useful. Not the flying at friends thing, but like... the other stuff." Alex laughed a little bit.

“AUCA actually helps manage an entire system of Canopteks I have hidden in different universe to spy on people. There’s some Canopteks I’ve hidden Titanium-28, there’s Canopteks I’ve hidden on several version of Copper-9, there’s hidden Canopteks in the Cube, there’s hidden Canopteks here, there’s hidden Canopteks everywhere being managed by me and AUCA to spy on people.”

"That's only a little weird." Alex shook her head. "But... only slightly."

Ash blinked, seeming to take in the information.

“Better reaction than I expected.”

AUCA was seen heading over to Santek, both began firing off light displays, perhaps communicating with each other.

"Eh... Being the position I'm in, there's always people watching me in some way. If I lived in a city like most of the others, there'd probably be people trying to peek in my windows and stuff for some tabloid or news story."

“And you’re not concerned that I’m watching literally everyone else?”

"Eh... I don't think you'd really do anything to interfere too much." Alex shrugged. "It's... a complicated feeling I guess. I'm used to it, and it feels normal. Probably not a good thing for someone out of my position."

“True. The most interference I want to do is help hunt down Rae.”

"I want to help too, but I guess Spectre is determined to handle that since Titanium is her home and all." Alex shrugged. "I did give Bishop one of my patches, and I studied Tera's a little bit... Gotta get back to that, the USB is still functional..."

"Mam said I could go visit and help with the excuse of a sleepover with Ai!" Ash grinned wide, all sharp teeth. "I need to ask that soon!" His tail wagged.

“Didn’t that USB ‘bite you’ one time?”

"Not important." Alex waved a hand. "It's just a little strong. Never had Primary Host data before."

“True… I’m deploying a 5 individual strong Warrior Phalanx to guard you at all times.”

"I don't think that's-"

"Thank you!" Ash smiled brightly as he cut his mother off, tail wagging. She raised a brow at the back of his head, but was ignored.

“I think I’ll have 4 with close quarters Gauss Reapers and 1 with a long range gauss flayer.”

Alex sighed and rubbed her face while her son just wagged his tail.

"We trust you with whatever you choose." He nodded.

“Maybe I’ll have them follow Alex literally everywhere and they get to fire at anyone who is Alex’s enemies without any warning.”

"That might be a bit too far." Ash tilted his head. "Mam can handle herself. I am mostly concerned about issues with things that are not as easy for a human to handle."

“How about we have an anti-matter weaponry policy, and yes I own anti-matter weapons, where conduct an anti-matter bombardment as a warning shot?” It’s clear by this point that he’s probably joking.

Alex sighed, leaning into more of a sitting position. Ash, whom she was laying against, looked over his shoulder from the work that Glass and Viper were working on with him.

"Mam?"

"Friend is coming to visit and meet you." She pat his side, smiling a little as his tail wagged.

"Oh! I am excited!" He turned back to Glass and Viper. "I will finish this first, so that I do not have a bad stopping point."

"Smart boy." Glass laughed a little.

"It can be anything. I think we're fine not seeing everything in your pockets." Alex laughed softly.

"Mam keeps many things in her pockets as well!" Ash nodded.

Neither noticed Anutek immediately, both just reliefed to see the other. But it ended when the half possessed Solver drone noticed him in the corner of her eye. And like a switch, her smile became forced and her body grew tense, the digits on her wings digging into the ground as she let out a throaty growl. Yellow starting to bleed into her other optic.

Anutek moved to the side a bit, his Hyperphase Glaive materializing in his hands.

The hybrid noticed the glaive, unknowingly inching between Anutek and her partner as she look up at him with hollowed optics. All the while Bird, just continued to growl, bits of oil-blood infused drool dripping from her mouth.

Anutek held his position, unmoving, before quickly pulling out the Stasis field emitter and activating it, creating a field of frozen time around Bird.

Bird barely got the chance to lung before it went off, freezing her in place with her mouth opened, an arm slightly raised and her wings, weirdly enough, pushing her forwards at an angle that like it shouldn't been at the least uncomfortable.

Unfortunately she was still close enough to Cake that she got caught in the field too.

Anutek messed with the Emitter’s controls until the field only encompassed the bottom half of Bird, essentially paralyzing her from the waist down and preventing her from going anywhere.

The Solver drone snapped her jaws at Anutek, letting out loud, raspy screeches, the feathers on her hunches raising a she tried to swipe at him.

Meanwhile, the hybrid just watched, stunned and worried at her partner's current behavior.

Anutek looked down at Cake. “How do we get her to calm down?”

Cake didn't immediately respond, her half fried brain desperately trying to find something but non of it was coherent. "I-I don't know." She blurted, watching her girlfriend continue growl and screech at Anutek. Her blue eye becoming increasingly more yellow.

Anutek approached Bird. “Her eyes are turning yellow.”

Bird continued to screech, only to stop when the yellow took over her eyes. Now just staring at Anutek, a forced on her face.

Cake then went over to Anutek, hollowed violet optics staring at the Solver drone who had switched her focus to her. But didn't make an attempt to move.

Anutek wave his free hand in front of Bird’s face.

Yellow optics watched the hand, not even reacting to it, just staring.

"Okay, that's... A little weird." The hybrid chimed, rubbing the back of her neck.

Anutek put his hand closer.

"Bird" doesn't react.

Anutek pulls his hand back, slowly goes over to grasp the Hyperphase Glaive, and then quickly swings the Glaive over in a striking motion, stopping and pulling it back right as it’s millimeters away from Bird’s face.

Again, "Bird" didn't react.

Cake did though, face flashing with fear, stepping closer with her arm raised to grab him, just to be confused before realising what was going on and taking a step back. Now watching the currently yellow eyed Solver drone.

Anutek repeated the action several times.

Each time, "Bird" didn't react, keeping her eyes on Anutek.

“I think she’s waiting for me to turn off my stasis field.”

"She could also be watching what you'll do." The hybrid pointed out walking closer to Anutek. "I don't think Bird knows what you can do and if this is who V's yelling at me that is, then they don't know either." She mumbled a part of it, trying to make sure that the possessed Solver drone wouldn't overhear.

But they clearly did, tilting it's head as it stared at the drone, it smile somehow widening.

“She heard you. Your theory might be correct, she could be not reacting so I’ll try more things to get her to react.”

"I don't think it will if this isn't Bird. It likes to play with it's food so it'll just enjoy itself." She sneered, tail harshly flicking.

The wider smile didn't fade. Just to creak when a small part of optics flickered a deep lapis blue, it wasn't much but it was something.

“Then we should wait, let it get bored.”

Cake didn't respond, instead just choosing to sit down. Prompting her leg up before resting her head against her palm, yawning a bit.

Several lights fire off from Anutek’s body, and something is teleported near him, it’s a literal throne, a teal throne with golden accents. Anutek sits in it and stares at Bird.

The three stayed there for a while, no-one speaking and the only movement coming from Cake occasionally looking at the ever purpling sky, her wire tail curled tightly behind her back, hiding a nervous twitch.

All the while, The Solver stared. The blue refusing to leave the optics, steadily growing but the sky seemed to change faster. The two drones feeling their skin start to itch as the first warm coloured hues started to break through the sky.

Anutek fired off more lights, and the Lord’s Gaze appeared overhead, moving to use itself to block the sun.

“This is AUCA, a specialized Canoptek made by my Crypteks with the specific purpose of being an assistant, such as being able to spy on people, help manage economy, spy on people even more, spy on people in other universes, flying directly at my friends, stuff like that.”

"That's pretty useful. Not the flying at friends thing, but like... the other stuff." Alex laughed a little bit.

“AUCA actually helps manage an entire system of Canopteks I have hidden in different universe to spy on people. There’s some Canopteks I’ve hidden Titanium-28, there’s Canopteks I’ve hidden on several version of Copper-9, there’s hidden Canopteks in the Cube, there’s hidden Canopteks here, there’s hidden Canopteks everywhere being managed by me and AUCA to spy on people.”

"That's only a little weird." Alex shook her head. "But... only slightly."

Ash blinked, seeming to take in the information.

“Better reaction than I expected.”

AUCA was seen heading over to Santek, both began firing off light displays, perhaps communicating with each other.

"Eh... Being the position I'm in, there's always people watching me in some way. If I lived in a city like most of the others, there'd probably be people trying to peek in my windows and stuff for some tabloid or news story."

“And you’re not concerned that I’m watching literally everyone else?”

"Eh... I don't think you'd really do anything to interfere too much." Alex shrugged. "It's... a complicated feeling I guess. I'm used to it, and it feels normal. Probably not a good thing for someone out of my position."

“True. The most interference I want to do is help hunt down Rae.”

"I want to help too, but I guess Spectre is determined to handle that since Titanium is her home and all." Alex shrugged. "I did give Bishop one of my patches, and I studied Tera's a little bit... Gotta get back to that, the USB is still functional..."

"Mam said I could go visit and help with the excuse of a sleepover with Ai!" Ash grinned wide, all sharp teeth. "I need to ask that soon!" His tail wagged.
