What a mess this whole situation is. I had a feeling we'd get an apology at some point, it is hard to leave a platform when you had a significant following. However, it would be best for Sarah not interact with the internet for a long while, i hope it gets better. Honestly it's painful and scary to watch this whole situation play out. Your words will never be forgotten online, Sarah reputation is already ruin and it has to work really hard to restore it. If it wants to. All i want is to this nightmare to end on some neutral note at least.

Regardless as to wether Sarah is lying or not, the fact that the p3dos are so mad about this situation really shows what their ‘community’ wants. It’s not about helping people being comfortable with exploring different sides of themselves and being comfortable with who they are, it’s about convincing people that they are also p3dos and making them believe that it’s normal and okay and not, in fact, a mental disorder. And when someone finally realises that maybe they’re not like them, instead of being happy that they’ve finally figured themselves out, they’re mad because they’ve lost another person who is now probably going to see how fucked up and manipulative this place is

Personally, I believe it. It doesn’t really make sense for Sarah to basically ruin its image in the only other part of the internet that supported it, and, even now, it does seem to understand that this channel and its fans are pretty much destroyed forever. If we’re looking at the irl angle, digital footprints exist, so a company would pretty easily be able to find stuff about the p3do sight it visited and also deleted posts and stuff, so that doesn’t really do anything either

I don’t have ocd, but I do have intrusive thoughts that I obsess over. Things like mental images and especially groinal response can really mess with your head. Add on delusions and psychosis, and a community feeding into all of it, something like this could probably happen pretty easily

Also, while I know nothing about psychosis, I did search it up and it seems that psychotic symptoms can linger around for even a year, so I’m not off-put by the timeline, especially with the fact that it was in the ‘map’ community, which would just worsen its mental state

I honestly don't think that Sarah is lying in it's newest blog post, it seems a lot less frantic, also in it's original post the emphasis on not wanting to do anything with real minors doesn't seem like something that would be staged like that or something that a real "map" would say, anyways I'm glad I can look back to any old fanart I drew and not think "Oh! 😀 That was made for a proshipper/pedo! Lovely!" -🌹

The issue with this whole thing is that it's very difficult/impossible to tell whether or not it's lying, because really all we have to go off of is what it's saying. Psychosis, bipolar and general mental health stuff is going to work differently in different people, so while it's definitely a good idea to be cautious of what it's saying, it's also destroyed its reputation within the MAP/paraphile community by throwing them under the bus. I think think it's telling the truth, but that doesn't mean everything it's done is fine now. It's just one thing it's doing right.

Sarah saying that is was experiencing psychosis explains a lot about the sketchbook tour 19 imo. I don’t think it was an isolated episode. It drew itself talking to “Satan” which makes it seems like it could have been experiencing psychosis at that time time. But I’m not an expert

It feels a little weird to demand that Sarah give us “absolute proof” that it isn’t a MAP. I feel like it already has. It deleted all of its posts and said it no longer believes or supports that stuff. Not to mention the MAPs have apparently disowned it. It has POCD so all this demanding that it prove that it isn’t a real paedophile will probably only worsen its mental health. It clearly wants to move on from this.

Just a fact I thought should be known, the Pink Dazzle channel has existed since June of 2022. So, assuming it is solely to post map-related songs, Sarah had been thinking about this since then. Maybe it was just to post one song, since the others were posted after the "coming out" and maybe at the time it wasn't about map stuff. But it still feels kinda wrong to me

While i can understand the psychosis part and the way mental health issues can twist your brain into complete mess (ask me how i know, haha, totally not personal experience). This video feels like a manipulation and an attempted to fix reputation. No matter how much affort was put into it, we already saw the way Sarah will structure their words in order to make people believe complete bullshit. If it was just an episode than all the dates on MAP stuff should be around the same time "coming out" vid was posted, but i believe there's a lot of MAP related things that pre-date it by years. Might be wrong, we should absolutely check them. I've seen too much apologies like this one where people would backtrack on their claims and blame everything on their mental health. And while it could actually be the case, Sarah went too deep into defending pedophilia and one video won't be enough to be fix it, to erase the claims and potential harm they might've caused.

It's good they are seeking help, because, yeah, they need it. But then you tell internet you are pedophile in such manner, it's over for you. I know, every one wants to believe that Sarah is a good person who made a mistake, who was groomed into pedophile community (which is scary, paraphilia communities has such a horrible manipulative ways of convincing you, you're one of them, especially young children), but we cannot trust people like this. It is simply too dangerous. And unless Sarah gives iron proofs they aren't MAP or MAP apologist it doesn't matter how much they'll say sorry I'll be better like every other shitty youtuber who got themselves into controversy.

Same anon who thought the whole thing was too high effort, I also think if it was trying to cover everything up it wouldn't have mentioned attraction to minors in those words? POCD in and of itself is (wrongly) very stigmatized, and a lot of people think it is genuine attraction to minors, so I don't know if it would risk the general public being able to find that if it was just lying. Again, not trying to defend it.

It could've just done a blank screen, and a short statement in the description (like the original "coming out"). Instead, it did a fully finished speedpaint and finished the song it had been struggling with for a while, and took responsibility for everything that happened. I don't want to defend it, but it seems like it's being genuine to me.

The new vid/explanation is very sus to me, basically backtracking on everything she's said in the past. The secret account posts, her leaked AO3, the literal pages of asks defending paedophiles and MAPS that she proudly wrote for the whole internet to see, and all the other evidence suggests this was not just bad mental health and POCD. I think she realized that she and her views are not going to be "accepted" and this will impact her future, so she deleted everything to try clear her name and image, in hopes things return to normal. Idk.

I made an account on that p3do site back when the drama went down to spy on HS. Went back and checked on it today and omg the p3do are mad at it. Really funny to watch

I think it’s good to be cautious of HS’s or any YouTubers apology but I do think it’s actions align with POCD. Obviously not everyone is gonna experience it the same way but it really seems like she got some sort of community with the MAPs easing her POCD which is why she said that she was proud to be a MAP. But since she’s admitted what she did was wrong and apologized and is getting help then hopefully she got out of that mindset

Honestly I do not know if I can believe it is being fully honest at all because POCD, while making you think about that stuff a lot, doesn't make you defend people who prey on actual children. It doesn't make you actually attracted to children. It makes you obsessively think about that stuff, but it doesn't make you attracted to them. I have known multiple people with POCD and not a single person has ever expressed being proud of being a predator. I want to believe it was just mistaken, that it was experiencing what it claims, but I have a hard time believing that when it used mental health as a shield last time and this could be it lying to cover up as much as possible.
