Rory Gilmore is a super important role model in education. She doesn’t just dedicate herself to learning because she cares about grades, but because she’s passionate about learning inside and outside of school. Passion is the fuel of knowledge. Hope her work ethic can help boost yours as we all head into that end of year madness! Good luck with whatever exams you’re taking, but don’t just admire her dedication. Go study, even if it’s only for a few minutes. Learning is never something you will come to regret and the success will be well worth the extra time.

What is 100 days of productivity? Like is there a set list of what you're supposed to do each day or what?
Hi! 100 days of productivity is a tag/ challenge created by @elizastudies and it's basically just doing something productive everyday of the week and posting a picture of what you've achieved. There are no set rules and for me it's all about documenting/celebrating that I'm getting something done everyday! Eliza made a more detailed post about it on her blog so you can check that out if you want 😊
hey! what study method do you use? :)
I use pretty much every study method you can think of since I like to make lots of copies of notes for each subject since for me actually making notes is much better for revision compared to reading notes i’ve already made. My favourites are flash cards and what I call cram sheets 😂 (they probably have an actual name but it's basically where you fit all the information from one module onto one piece of paper so everything is compact and easy to read through quickly the night before). Thank for the question n have a great day ✌🏼️💕
Just found a bunch of your tip posts and they're really helpful! Thank you so much for making them 💕✨
I’m super glad you them useful 😊💕 hopefully i’ll write more in the future so if you have any suggestions it would be great to hear them (btw thanks for sending this, messages like this make me really happy)
When your about to start school again and anxiety kick you in the arse like hey bitch I'm back

Studyblr 3.0
Allow me to reintroduce myself,
Name’s Billie. I’m a second year biology major. This is my third(?) attempt at a studyblr and this time I’m using my main blog. I won’t be deleting my past posts ‘cause quite frankly I’m a sentimental little shit.
Studyblr really helped me last semester - I achieved better results than ever, so here we go again for round two.
A favourites I grew to really appreciate in times of low motivation:
@hella-smart-nerd @overstudies @academla @scholarly @kaleystudies @anatomykid @studyign
Hi Billie, welcome to studyblr again 😅 I hope you get the grades you want this semester and thanks for mentioning me 💙😊
Soooo I haven't been on tumblr for quite a while, forgive me pls my mental health kinda swept my feet off the floor in the most unromantic way possible. But hopefully with the new school year starting I recover soon (because yah know new year new stationary) and post a lot more often ✌🏼️
(btw this is mainly about coping w/ mental health as a student during exam period and also there’s quite a few swears in this post so if your not comfortable with that then please don’t read on, i’m really sorry thats just the way i talk)
So i’m going to start of this post with a couple statements and couple facts. One, having mental health issues is shit, anxiety screws me up and depression is a bag of balls if i’m honest. Two, this is by know means a cure all. This post is just a compilation of tips and tricks that i find helpful, or others find helpful, which could potentially improve things for you. Three, please remember that you are the most important thing in the world for yourself. You should always put your happiness first. There are three categories that i’m going to cover in this post (there might be a part two in the future), which are how to deal with taking exams, taking care of yourself first and coping with failure. Just a disclaimer, i am by know means an expert. The only experience i have is of course my own and the way i deal (deal is stretching it tbh) with my mental health issues are defiantly going to be different to yours. Even so i really hope this post helps you guys and that you can take something away from it.
Taking care of yourself
Like i said above, dealing with mental health issues is shit. And having to deal with myself at the same time is even worse. Especially during exam period i throw my sleep and health into the fucking trash. Like dude. I’m so bad to myself and the twisted thing is i think that i haven’t done enough work and so i deserve all the crap i feel and yeah basically when you start thinking about yourself in this way TAKE A STEP BACK AND BREATHE.
PUT REMINDERS EVERYWHERE. Use sticky notes that say things like ‘take a drink of water,’ ‘your doing okay you fuck nugget,’ ‘take a bite to eat,’ ‘cool down for a minute’ etc and stick them everywhere. If your revising from a text book distribute them throughout the chapter your studying, stick them places you know your going to look, put them in your exercise books, your planner, homework diaries, art journals, bullet journals. E V E R Y W H E R E. Make them annoying make them convincing because your so totally worth the effort.
Drink lots and lots and lots (water not alcohol). Please please please do this. It will prevent day time fatigue and keep you healthy. Which is super important okay because your worth it.
Sleep. LET ME TELL YOU THIS FROM EXPERIENCE. REVISING THROUGH THE NIGHT = BAD IDEA. NOT SLEEPING AT ALL = BAD IDEA. CHOOSING SCHOOL WORK OVER SLEEP = BAD FUCKING IDEA (if you need help getting better sleep heres my tip post about it)
Taking exams
I’m not sure about you guys but taking exams have always been one of the worst experiences for me so here are some tricks that i use that i hope can help you in some way.
Discover how you take exams best. Don’t stress over a question that you can’t get straight away. Circle it and go back to it at the end of the paper and make sure you leave time to check so that at the end of the test you can be reassured you did the best you could of done given whatever situation you were in.
Bring water with you. Drinking often always calms me down.
DON’T GIVE UP! Whatever your brain is telling you, tell it to fuck itself. You can do this.
Concentrate on your own work. Don’t compare the speed your working at to someone else’s, but make sure you do keep track of time. \
If you start having a panic attack. Ask to be excused and tell the teacher why. You will be allowed to take a breather 98% of the time. Your health is the most important and exams can always wait.
Coping with failure
To be honest i don’t have much advice on this topic as i’m personally shit at it but i hope you can take something away from it.
This is by no means the end. If you didn’t get the result you wanted so what. There will be more exams to ace and more awards to win in the near future. Let failure empower you to work harder not make you lose faith in you abilities.
If the stress is keeping you up at night distract yourself. Listen to music, do breathing exercises, write a story in your head. Think about how damn incredible you are regardless.
Your percentage does not equate to your worth. Or your happiness. Or your potential.
Persevere. Be determined and stop at nothing to achieve what you want. Assess your mistakes and make sure you don’t make them again. It only gets better from here.
And finally, it may seem like the end of the world now. You may of just had a panic attack, you may be dealing with suicidal thoughts, you may be suffering through a depressive low, but please don’t believe this phase in your life will stop you from achieving great things. Everything eventually comes to an end. Your emotions are valid and I hope that the road to recovery is somewhere along that shitty horizon people keep raving about. Talk to me about whatever and feel free to ask any questions. Good luck.
Lol reading my own advice 😂😂
