—What is Overworld?
Overworld features Solton, the prince of Hell, who through his own mistakes trapped himself as well as Scabs, the grumpy downtrodden demon on Earth. Despite their mutual dislike they must work together to get back home, eventually meeting Robin, your… average teenager who is willing to help them in their adventures.
This comic contains frequent (censored) swear words, smoking, and difficult topics such as abuse and loss, it’s recommended for teens and older.
—Where/when does it update?
Overworld is available to read on Webtoon, Tapas, Voyceme, and Patreon! It will also be apart of my eventual website (as in a strawpage, out soon).
It will updated on the 1st of every month at 12pm EST with roughly 5-10 pages!
—How can I support your project?
Reading, following, and sharing are all free ways to support the project and they help massively!! Because this is such a huge undertaking as a student and hobbyist, anything helps. For pride month I did little drawings of the main characters of my comic Overworld with their flags
Also I’m putting information about each of their identities for education purposes which you can read under the cut ^^
Solton (he/him) is transgender FtM (as seen by having lined horns, which is a representation of biological sex for hellborn demons) and gay.
- Someone who is transgender identifies as a different gender than their sex assigned at birth. FtM stands for female to male, as in someone who was born labeled female but later transitioned to male, and MtF is the other way around. Transgender does not necessarily denote someone who transitioned between the binary genders as it is an umbrella term for all non-cis gender identities as well.
- Someone who is gay is attracted to members of their own sex (gay usually refers specifically to men who are attracted to other men, but this is not always the case as it can be used as a general term for sexuality).
Scabs (he/they) is panromantic (though the pansexual flag was used for simplicity) and asexual. Pinwheel (the rat) is not queer btw bc he is a rat but he is an ally (as much as a literal rat can be).
- Someone who is pansexual/panromantic is someone who is attracted to all genders without a preference. Being panromantic specifies that the person is attracted romantically to all genders, but not necessarily sexually.
- Someone who is asexual does not experience sexual attraction nor sexual desire. This is a spectrum though and can vary from person to person.
Robin (she/they) is queer.
- Queer is a general term for someone who is not heterosexual/cisgender and is a more broader term people can identify with if they do not want to use specific labels. Because ‘queer’ used to be an insult against LGBT+ people, some people are still against its use but it has been widely reclaimed by the community and specifically identifying as queer has become more normalized and accepted in recently years.
As well, I want to write that we cannot ignore that in the United States in 2025, queer and especially trans people are under attack by discriminatory laws as our president and politicians uses us as a scapegoat to ignore the country’s real problems. This pride month is incredibly important and we need to be reminded of the importance of our community as well as the fact that pride month is a protest and we need to fight to maintain our rights.

First episode/four pages of Overworld is 100% done!!
I did a test print bc I’ll be printing the first 3 episodes (roughly 13 pages) in a few weeks for an art “exhibit” of mine! It looks terrible printed but I think that’s just my crappy printer lol
