Melinda. Former mother goose of the art department, now young Baba Yaga smoke slinger. Glad to see you so happy these days. Words can't describe how cool, amazing, smart and strong this women truly is. She's inspired me on so many ways and avenues of my life. Thank you for being you. I'll miss seeing your smiling face so often in the studio but we'll see each other often enough hopefully. Things lately have been great without a doubt, but there were two unrelated tragedies that occurred today. First one was my close friends first cousin committing suicide by hanging themselves on a tree at an indigenous reservation. This one took me quite some time to process and really upset me because I've done a lot of research on it lately and to be honest not only did society fail her but the system of the Canadian government had failed her, and in turn that sits on all of us canadians. It's fucking quite disgusting and in light of all the good things happening to so many demographics and social groups or what seems like progress in canada, I feel the whole native situation is completely under the radar and highly ignored. People can't even get fucking clean water in most of these communities. and on top of that its such a convoluted and complicated situation at this point theres no right or concrete solutions to the matter. and that puts things on the back burner since no one wants to deal with it or address one of the most negative things about this great fucking country i live in. i am truly proud to be part of such a fucking wonderful nation that essentially an experiment still in the process. im at a loss of words, and if you need my support buddy if ever im here man. 

second which is not at all comparable but still powerful. ill never forget listening to a mos def song and hearing a sample of survival of the fittest, and then venturing in and discovering this amazing artist the prodigy who is mobb deep. and seeing the video right after that of pressure and just losing my shit that hes rolling through the hood with a sickle and just comparing it to all weird avenues of my life being in high school. you were truly someone i listened to on a daily basis and got me further into the golden age of rap and hip hop. thank you.

Last smoke and evening on the balcony of the Lansdowne house. What the fuvk can I say. This place was a time where I really learned who I was and how I affected many aspects of my life and others. Not only did I learn to grow myself I got to know and live with someone on a whim who've I developed an insane connection and friendship with. You slowly became my best friend and I can always talk to you for hours and get feedback. You're a vibrant/extremely talented person and I'll never lose sight of that or forget this period of my life with you. Please don't take this negatively ever. I just need my annual change and to move forward, I'll catch ya on the flip side. I got to share this time with someone I really love and appreciate and got to know. Going to miss it tons.
