I’m not sure if anyone knows this but the first episode of my new show ‘The Serpent’ just dropped and I’m so excited it’s out. I’ve gone from a soap star, to a 'Doctor Who’ companion, to the queen of England to a mother and now I’m playing Marie-Andrée Leclecra - the accomplice to serial killer Charles Sobhraj. It’s based on a true story so if that’s something you might be interested in then feel free to give it a watch but I feel like I should warn you that its pretty intense. I had a lot of fun working on it, dressing in 70’s clothes was amazing but I do feel like I may have ruined the French accent.

i LOVE me a good story about a murderer, so that’s for sure going on the watch list. what service is it on? i’m bad enough with technology as it is, i don’t need to struggle through the search function of 3 different streaming apps, haha. ah c’mon, i’m willing to bet that your accent is great! passable, at least. don’t be so hard on yourself! did you manage to keep any of that wardrobe?

It was a time-honored tradition between them that one would always see the other at some point during this end-of-year holiday season, staying for a few days, getting caught up in all the chaos that their friendship often spawned. And wasn’t it Oscar’s lucky year—he was remaining in New York, his sons with their mother on Christmas Eve & plans to go visit them for the day on the 25th, and not much else. This meant, of course, that Pedro was obligated to come stay at his for the few days preceding the big gift-a-palooza, and accompany him to see his nephews on the day. The boys wouldn’t be happy without a visit from tio Pedro, after all.

It was the night before Christmas, and the two friends were many beers deep, sharing laughs and stories and catching one another up on their good times. Which had been few and far between for Oscar, at least for the last six months, give or take. But now he had new happenings in his life, happenings involving a beautiful young woman who’d he’d never seen himself engaging with in such a... carnal way, and yet here he was. She’d gone off to be with her family, of course, but he hoped to see her again before the new year had arrived. 

“Mi amor,” Oscar hummed thoughtfully, rolling his head to the side to look at Pedro, who sat beside him on the couch. “Do you think that twenty seven is too young for me? It is, right? It’s gotta be.” He seemed to be trying to talk himself out of something, offering Pedro no preface or context for the question. // @pedroshq
