I donāt know if it hit me harder? I think no matter the project once it goes big to the point where it changes your life, it hits haha I think some days you become very aware of the limitations of your life, but it also comes with massive perks as well. So itās like tit for tat. How have you been handling everything? Therapy helped me out a lot, still does.
Yeah, I can see what you mean by that. Like, I have started having conversations about stronger security just in case something serious happens at home. I've never had to really think about that until now. Therapy has actually really helped, mainly because I stress so much about what people say these days.
Yeah, when you get shoved into the limelight and then throw in attraction, itās gets to be a lot. But honestly? Try to enjoy it. I know it sounds crazy to say, but itās something Iāve learned. This stuff doesnāt last forever, and the internet finds a new boyfriend every few years. Savor it. Take it for what itās worth too. Because once you get into a rhythm and establish your boundaries, youāll look back and miss the hype. I know I do from time to time. But I remember my boundaries are for my family.
Seb: it honestly depends. Iāve never watched back any of the marvel stuff. I did watch some of my independent films but it always makes me cringe haha I hate seeing myself on the screen so I try to avoid it when I can. How about you? What do you do?
shawn: none of the marvel stuff?i thought you might have, with how much you've done with them over the years. i can see how it might make you cringe.
shawn: i try to avoid it honestly. though if one of my kids wants to watch one of my things, depending on what it is? i'll sit through it, feel odd, but i'll do it.
Seb: I think the only one I truly watched is the winter soldier one. Only because that was my first real āmomentā with marvel. Otherwise, I tend to steer clear from it haha
Seb: wait, how many kids do you have? Do they typically enjoy your work or do they make fun of you for it like how I hear about some other celebs say haha

Holy shit, really? That would honestly make my kids dream come true. Heād flip out if he got to go back stage and meet all of you. Heās at the age where all this stuff is making sense and the amount of action figures he has of you guys is insane haha
Harvey Dent is one of those characters thatās constantly walking a line between hope and darkness, and I think thatās what makes him so compelling. Getting the chance to explore who he is before everything changes felt like a really interesting challenge. Plus, joining the DC universe for the first time with a character that iconic was hard to pass up.
2) Whatās it been like working with the director and the rest of the cast?
Itās been fantastic. The director has such a clear vision for Gotham, but thereās also a lot of room for collaboration. Everyone came in wanting to make something special, and that kind of energy is contagious. Itās a cast thatās incredibly talented but also just really fun to be around between takes.
3) How similar are you to your character?
Hopefully Iām a little more balanced haha I think we both care deeply about doing whatās right, but Harvey carries the weight of Gotham in a way that eventually consumes him. I try to leave work at work.
4) If you could play any other Batman character, who would it be and why?
Probably the Riddler. I love characters who keep everyone guessing and make you work a little harder to understand whatās going on beneath the surface. Thereās something really fun about playing someone whoās always ten steps ahead.
5) Batmobile or Batcycle?
Batmobile. Itās just too iconic. You canāt say no to driving that thing.
6) Did you perform any of your own stunts?
I always like doing as much as Iām allowed to because it helps you stay connected to the scene. Obviously the stunt team is incredible and they handle the really dangerous stuff, but whenever it was safe to jump in, I definitely wanted to.
7) Which Justice League member would your character get along with best?
I think Harvey would have a lot of respect for Superman. They both genuinely believe in justice and doing the right thing, even if they go about it in very different ways. Before Harveyās life starts to unravel, I could see those two seeing eye to eye on a lot of things.
1. How has your character changed since audiences last saw them?
I think the biggest change is that Bucky has finally started trusting himself. For so long he was defined by guilt and by trying to make up for a past that wasnāt really his choice. Now heās coming from a place where heās earned his own identity. That doesnāt mean heās at peace all the time, but heās making decisions because he believes in who he is, not because heās trying to outrun who he was.
2. Did you learn any new skills or training during filming?
Every movie asks something different physically. There was definitely a lot of stunt work, weapons training, and choreography, but what I always enjoy is finding little ways to make Buckyās fighting style evolve. Heās incredibly efficient, but now thereās a little more confidence and control behind everything he does. Also, Iām pretty handy with my knife skills now. It translated well to when I had to learn how to play a drummer ;)
3. If your character had to team up with someone unexpected in the MCU, who would you choose and why?
Iād probably say Loki. I think that would be fascinating because theyāre both characters whoāve had to live with their pasts and earn peopleās trust back. Theyāre very different personalities, so I imagine theyād annoy each other quite a bit, but I think theyād secretly understand one another better than theyād admit. And Iām not saying this because I have a massive crush on Tom Hiddleston either ;) haha
4. Whatās your favorite memory working with this ensemble cast?
Honestly, itās always the moments between takes. These movies can be incredibly demanding, so having everyone joking around, grabbing coffee together, or trying to make each other laugh really keeps the energy up. Thatās usually what I remember most after weāre finished.
5. Was there a prop or costume from set that you wished you could take home?
Iāve always had a soft spot for Buckyās gear. The jackets have become kind of iconic, and Iād never complain about finding one in my closet. But realistically, Iād probably take one of the training knives. Theyāre pretty cool. I do have an arm as well.
6. What song would be your characterās theme song for this film?
Iāll go with āThe Man Comes Aroundā by Johnny Cash. Thereās something about the weight and intensity of that song that feels like Bucky. Heās always carrying history with him, but heās still moving forward.
7. Using only one word, how would you describe Doomsday?

Isnāt fame a crazy thing? I swear you could be working for years just under the radar and then one project changes your life completely. Thatās how it was for me with marvel. Itās a crazy concept to look back on.
