Very long Reflection (apologies in advance)
So I have been back in the land down under for two weeks now and have had some time to settle, catch up with family and friends and most importantly reflect on the massive two months Renee and I experienced.
I can not thank everyone who made the experience that much more special, safe to say Paramore fans / friends are super great (besides the ones that try to trip your hair out during the support act) and i love you all so much. Special mentions are needed to:
Dan thankyou (and your family) for taking us in for two nights, we loved chicago and loved meeting your amazing parents, definitely miss your mumma :P Dani thankyou for letting us crash at yours after boston and for making what i belive is the best breakfast i have ever tasted! mmm Ross we are both so glad we got to meet another Paramore fan traveling almost as far as us for their favourite band!! you're so awesome and i could listen to you speak all day :P hehe Tony thanks for all your help over the whole two months, for your detailed travel tips and transport and company, was all good fun man :) Kyle you were one of my favourites this trip, (sorry everyone else haha) you are such a good friend and person, thankyou for being so kind to us and making boston / new york so much fun! and thanks for not letting that maniac truck driver kill us hehe pauline IM SORRY I DIDNT COME BACK!!! that hour we spent chatting about.... things ;) hehe was lovely, if i ever come back to boston we are having epic hangouts because i love you <3 Catie... oh catie catie haha I LOVE YOU. sorry. but i do. new york show was amazing and i am so glad we finally got to meet and hang out after so long, you are truely amazing and I definitely miss you the most :P hehe
and to everyone else who we spent the day with in line, had lunch with, showed us around we appreciated it so much and its so nice to know we have friends all over the states, definitely welcome at our (well mine) if you're ever in AUS <3
now that I have just finished what sounded like a thankyou speech for an award i best be moving on. The past two months have truly been amazing, everyone back home thought that once i got this out of my system i would be able to somewhat move on from Paramore and start what they classify as 'living in the real world' well to them i apologise. This trip has just reinforced the reasons behind my love for paramore. They are the three people i truly, deeply and sincerely thank in this blog post. Their involvement, excitement and extreme kindness to us during the tour was overwhelming and something i never really expected. Justin said to a few girls in the line during the Atlanta show that he doesn't see how we were'nt bored to tears yet, and to him we said NEVER. night after night watching your favourite band is something that will always give me that excited nervous butterfly feeling in the pit of my stomach. Every night they found a way to make me feel every emotion at once and i miss that feeling now that i am home. The Atlanta show, which i haven't got around to writing about was that happiest but saddest point of the tour so bitter sweet; hayley got renee up (and Will made sure i got up too) for anklebiters just one last time which i was extremely grateful for as we got to thank them semi-properly for our experiences and involvement during the tour as anklebiters came to an end. After the tour we had a great three weeks site seeing and just winding down. I am so lucky I have such an amazing best friend and one that is pretty much a breeze to travel with (I miss you so much now we are home and can't handle it). I can't wait until the next Paramore Aus tour so we can do it all again, with the added bonus of all our aussie friends - i'm looking at you Nik Wylie you sexy beast you. Until then I will probably still annoy you all with long winded blog posts and pictures from the Spring Tour that i haven't shared yet
Love you all

My office tonight.
Spot the Aussies
New York City
New york, New york, New York. to say everything I want about this place in one post would turn extremely long winded haha. so i'll start with the show in this one.
We drove from Boston to New York with the coolest bunch; Dani, Kyle and Shannon. Was lots of fun, even though we slept most of the way ;) thankyou for getting us there safety kyle :)
To site see a little we walked from our hostel to the venue - roughly an hour and 20min. was worth it, even in the heat, we fell inlove with NYC right away, our kind of place. The line was huge when we arrived at 4.30pm. We were lucky enough to get another meet and greet after Sass missed out on the one in Salt Lake (so thankyou Paramore management for allowing that!). Finally finally got to meet Catie, I was very excited about this, girl you are amazing, i almost cried when I left you that night, ill be back to new york for sure :)
so the MEET AND GREET:
The meet and greet was held in the actual GA area of the venue which was kind of cool. Catie, Renee and Myself were front of line. Paramore came out, catie talked to them about the PFC situation, for everyone wondering they didnt even know that email was sent out, Taylor send he found out by fans "being very upset online" (obviously though they knew about the changes) and said it does suck and they were still having meetings etc about it. We chatted to Hayley and Taylor first. Taylor asked if I was okay in Boston - The Night Before i was totally mangled and squished and he saw and i gestured to him like "help" and he mouth "what" but didnt getting just made an awkward face expression haha - so was nice he rememebered, I explained to him that my legs and arms were in a million different places and was being squished by multiple people. Hayley complimented my orange nails which was flattering. We chatted a little bit about the tour and taylor said it warms his heart every time he see's us in the crowd (he gestured to his heart and made an adorable facial expression), but its funny he wonders why were are always separated, told him we both basically just bolt for barrier and end up where we end up. Hayley was SO stoked on Renee's My Heart tattoo she took a photo of it :). Jeremy Hi fived me "hey girl, whats up, how has the travel been treating ya". We chatted about how its weird that tours go so fast but seem slow at the same time, he totally got what I meant and said it is strange how much work goes into the stage production, set lists etc and then you wake up and its over (YEP TOTALLY get that). We talked about how I should be taking my vitamins every day haha Hayley also said the weather change is always a massive factor of them getting sick, we said toronto weather sucked, she agreed. She said we should like NYC the day after the show because it would be hot "yeah you guys would like that" (Guess being aussie and all... ;) haha). Jeremy also then complimented Renee's tattoo, we then chatted to him about getting tattoo'ed, glad we arent the only one's who hate getting white done, he said he cringes every time, yes Jeremy we do too :P Kim then came over to cutely move him along because he takes so long, she said she wished she brought her electric fly swatter because he is too chatty, haha she's so lovely. We then had our photos done and headed to barrier. Because they were running behind schedule they opened the doors while paramore were finishing the meet and greet photos, it was hilarious they were RIGHT THERE but everyone coming in was so worried about barrier they totally were oblivious to the band standing right there. They then snuck out without anyone fan girling in their direction.
The show was insane. Just overall mad mosh pit, crowd surfing, energy onstage - all of it. By the way to that crazy (for lack of a better word), childish girl who ripped my hair our because it was in your face, Paramore says no.
Poor taylor also fell and tore ligaments in his ankle, trooper grossly popped it back in but looked like he was in pain the rest of the set. Beautiful Catie finally got her chance on stage with the band, along with Scottish fan Ross. Was amazing seeing them up there.
After the show a bunch of us when to Shake Shack for some food and hangs, was so great having a big group coming together because of paramore (PFC represent always <3 )! I miss New York the most because of these people - so THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart for making new york one of my favourite shows, I love you all.

Chicago
Heading into Chicago Renee and I were super excited. we were greeted by another paramore fan Dan, who was amazing and let us crash at his house, we can not thank him and his family enough for their hospitality, we had so much fun with you guys :)
First night we just hung around the mall near dan's house, i bought a paramore belt from Hot topic, and some of my Kat von D perfume. We then headed over to the movie theatre to see Iron Man 3, it was okay, really long though. We then went back to Dan's house, spooned his cat and fell asleep :P
Because the show was all seating we finally had the chance to hang out and see a city. Dan was our tour guide, we went to the House of Blues for lunch, which was super cool, Dan ordered a caesar salad and received three pieces of lettuce, great value for money... We then walked along the lake which was pretty, we ended up at the beach, it was cold but kind of cool to see a beach pretty much in the city, fairly different to beaches in Australia but still has the sand and water. From here we headed to The Bean, a giant silver bean - Much like the Malls Balls for all you South Aussies haha. Our last tourist stop was the Sears Tower, you can see the whole city and more from up there. I had a bit of Anxiety heading up the hundred stories in one minute but i survived. The city was gorgeous from that high up but almost looked fake! I also refused to go out onto the glass boxes, no thankyou.
Finally it was time to head to the venue, where dan would have his meet and greet and we would sit in a coffee shop watching the rain waiting for doors. We were lucky enough to have amazing seats, Renee and I were practically touching the stage, right on the side again near taylor, we cant decide if its creepy that we just happen to keep ending up right infront of him always haha. The surrounding people we talked to were lovely and all PFC fans which made me happy, was great meeting you all :)
Kitten was awesome, not as full on as usual i suppose because she didnt have a massive mosh pit to crowd surf over. After kitten I finally got to a merch table, I didnt buy paramore merch, personally not a fan. I did however buy all of kittens CD's and my now favourite tee - that is also Kittens. Dan and I waited outside for a bit so we could meet Kitten, they were lovely and very humble. We ran back with 5 minutes to spare.
Hands down the best show yet. We had so much fun, i think because we had so much space to dance around it gave us alot more freedom. The band were crazy, you could tell hayley is back to 100% health and so happy about it. The band was basically on top of the first two rows, it was really cool seeing them THAT close up, with no barrier or restriction to them reaching out to their fans. The encore was my favourite part, when the confetti came down during Brick i just started spinning around in circles ting myself get covered in blue and yellow paper. It is one of the shows i got most hot and sweaty, which is funny because we had no one around us I just jumped around and acted like a total maniac the whole time.

The Set was the same as usual, they put renegade back in which made me happy.
So far Chicago has been my favourite place to visit AND my favourite show. Will definitely stick in my mind for a while
AND Dan we miss you so much D: thanks for being such an amazing friend.

Seeing America One Concert at a Time
Is it crazy to fly halfway around the world and go to every Paramore show playing in the US and Canada? Or is it just a great way to see America? If your names are Laura and Renee and you’re from Australia, the answer is pretty easy. They aren’t even from the same towns and three years ago, they didn’t know each other. But in October 2010, Laura and Renee chanced to be waiting in line together before a Paramore show in Adelaide, Australia. And they got to talking: Wouldn’t it be wonderful, beyond just seeing Paramore for a handful of shows that week in Australia, if they could follow the band around their next tour across the United States? This idea of an intense country tour might sound a bit fanciful to you. But if you are any kind of Paramore fan, this idea totally sensible. In fact, three other fans in the same line heard the idea, and signed on, too. The five formed the Aussie Paravan Crew, and vowed to save their money, go to America, buy a van and travel around the US on the very next US tour. Then, drama. Not too long after, brothers Josh and Zac Farro (lead guitarist/co-songwriter and drummer respectively) decided to leave the band in a wrenching breakup that left everyone wondering not only when there’d be another US tour, but whether the band would even survive. Well, Paramore is still a band, bigtime, with a strong new album that’s reached #1 on Billboard and with a US tour in full force. Their three friends had to drop out of the touring idea for various reasons, but Laura and Renee stuck to it, abandoning the van idea as impractical but instead flying or taking public transit to the different cities. They saved their money and borrowed some more to make it, and are happily touring to almost the entire tour, doing a lot of the dates with Tony from the US (also doing pretty much the whole show), and a few legs with other fans.
That’s Laura above, interviewed in San Francisco. And here are a couple of their pictures from the tour:
San Francisco!
The really are getting to see the road!
And meeting the band…
Who are really appreciative!

San Francisco
So I am a little behind on updates and I have missed a few shows so i apologise. Renee and I really enjoyed San Francisco, its a really nice city, kind of like home a little bit. When we arrived we literally dumped our stuff and headed to the venue, there was probably a little over 70 people when we got there, which surprisingly wasn't much for 2pm in my opinion. We werent stressed because our aim anyway was to get second barrier just behind the mosh pit. Renee waited inline while i went to scope some food. The walk was very interesting, the area the warfield is in was a little bit seedy so i kept my head down a lot, the buildings were pretty but the streets a little dirty. When we had mostly finished eating some cray woman ran up to my half eaten fries and Coke and just sat down and started eating it and muttering to herself, safe to say that was NOT a pleasant experience. The line overall wasnt too bad, except it was FREEZING and we were not prepared for that. We got to finally meet Martin, alot of you PFC people would know him, he is an awesome guy and we are glad we got to chat - he also did a very short interview with me so maybe look out for that, or maybe not its probably terrible on my behalf haha.
When doors finally opened it was super easy for us to get where we wanted everyone had filled up most of the main pit as to be expected. The view from here was actually awesome, for anyone who is like us and has only experienced paramore on barrier maybe next time you are going to a few shows find somewhere back a little its super cool watching the crowd and having a eye level / full view of the stage. Kitten yet again were sensational, i think they are getting better every night, and may have changed their set just slightly? During paramore you couldnt tell too much that hayley was sick, but she did get us to help sing more than usual, and may have almost vomited on the front row (so she says) haha. Was super cute Justin caught my eye from where were were and did a little wave whilst still trying to play guitar, always makes me feel good when they acknowledge the fans. The most stand out part of their set was anklebiters, because they had to cancel the meet and greet due to illness hayley tried to get as many people with meet and greet wrist bands on stage as she could id say there was about 15 people haha was hectic to say the least.
The next day was awesome. Martin showed us around the city, helped us find awesome food and coffee and we got to do the tourist thing and see the bridge. Thankyou again Martin for your lovely hospitality. We appreciated the whole day and hope to come back some day :)
we flew straight to salt lake and went to bed, only to wake up to the news the gig was cancelled. More concerned than disappointed we changed all our flights etc to fly into denver early to get a good sleep for tomorrows show... We really hope hayley feels better, not only to put on an epic rock show tomorrow night, but also for her wellbeing, i really hope she doesnt push herself she totally needs to rest up and we fully back her on that.
i will leave with a few san fran photos and try and update soon :)

Paramore Show 3, Los Angeles: The Wiltern
Renee and I got there at 6am because renee unfortunately didn’t get a meet and greet with me. There was already about 25 people there and apparently two of them had been there since 7pm, 24 hours before doors. Totally dedication. It was pretty fricken freezing in the morning but we slept for a good few hours. We then made two awesome friends in the line, Katie and her cousin (SORRY i forgot your name, you can be mad at me haha) it helped pass the time and we had some good chats, we will miss you guys :)
At 6 pm it was time for me to get ready for the meet and greet, they gave us wrist bands and ticked our names off we then lined up and entered a room back stage, I was about half way up the front of the line. They started at the back with autographs and small chats. Taylor got to us first and noticed my accent and thanked me for coming to the previous shows then gave me a lovely taylor hug (Which I might add only two people out of about 30 got without even asking– myself and Brittany). He asked how many shows we were going to and I said the whole tour, he was literally in shock/ so stoked at what we were doing. I mentioned that there was meant to be five of us and that only two made it , he asked where renee was and I said it sucked because she couldn’t get in to my meet and greet and it was her birthday. He knew who she was and was super upset they didn’t let me take her. He asked me if we had any other meet and greets and I said I didn’t know and he said he hopes we do so we can hang out more. Before he moved on he once again thanked me / us and said how much he appreciated the support, and he nearly forgot to sign my diary, he thought it was cute that we were writing it all down in a journal. Hayley was up next and I asked her how she was feeling, she said a little better but after she got over the sinus issues she got food poisoning, I told her she better not do a pitch perfect on us and Kim (paramore crew member) laughed and said they were talking about the exact same thing earlier that day. I also mentioned to Hayley it was renee’s birthday and she said she would try and find us in the crowd, I told her any show would be awesome to rock with them, she asked which was our last one and I said well we are going to all of them, and she said wait what the whole thing and I said yep and she said oh we are going to have so much fun. Jeremy asked me if I had moved to America and yet again I explained to him our plans and he said he had never ever in his life heard someone tell him that they were going on tour with them like we are, he hi fived me and said that it was totally rad. We also talked about general Pants Co and how he spent a lot of money there when he was in Australia because they don’t have it over here. Taylor then came back to me while he was waiting for the others to finish signing and was like, so all the shows?.... and I was like well 14 we are missing one and I feel terrible that we are, and he was like yeaah I should be mad at you and I was like I would be mad at me and he was like yeaaah actually im really angry now. Haha was super cute. I then continued to tell him we had been saving for 2.5 years for this and he got all serious and was like oh man now this is so much pressure I feel like I have to do so much better now, and I told him he better, but that the first two shows were amazing, and he said if I thought that I would love LA, which the previous show Justin had already told us, so I said to taylor yeah your brother spilled some paramore secrets to us, and he said he was dead (all in good fun of course). He asked us if we were driving and I said no flying, “you’re flying to all of them” he emphasized all haha and again he was shocked and said we must be total pro’s at security, I said of course it’s a breeze. He also asked how we wouldn’t get bored or tired of it, I simply said that they were amazing and they were totally worth the trip, he again said that it means so much to him to hear that and hopes he gets to chat / hang out more with renee and I. The photos were up, and when I had mine Jeremy yelled aussie aussie aussie, I may have accidently then told him Australians hate when people do that (I said it light heartedly of course) then Hayley and Kim start laughing so hard, Jeremy tried saying something else to me but they were pulling me away, so I quickly said, but because its you its fine. We were taken out the room and sent straight to the Pit area where I got barrier slightly left of The Paramore Box.
Kitten once again put on an epic show. I think it was the hardest they have jammed. Because I was more to the middle for the LA show I was right next to where she gets in the mosh and sings, lots of pushing happened there, but was still cool. During one of the last songs a guy played his Sax and she climbed all the way up on the big speaker and sung up there. The guitarist at the end of the last song held up his guitar for us to play, well attempt to.
Paramore came on and the energy in the crowd was intense, LA fans are super crazy, in a good way. It was a the roughest pit we have been in so far, but I enjoyed it a lot, we met some cool people while waiting. Paramore what do I say about them? Once again they put on a pretty damn good show. Hayley had been sick and you wouldn’t know, she rocked her heart out and gave it 110% the whole night, a few times she sat down, understandably any normal person would have given up, but she just kept pumping it out. This show was a lot more playful than the previous two, Jeremy and taylor syncing their guitar playing during misery business and Hayley and Taylor playfully fighting at the start of Ignorance. I couldn’t hear Hayley very well when she was talking to the crowd but as usual she did a spill on how much she loves their fans and that we all have a friend in them, which is super cute and why I love them so much.
Finally anklebiters was up and I just knew it was going to happen. Hayley picked Brittany to go up first, which is so fricken awesome for everyone who doesn’t know last night was her THIRTY FIRST SHOW! And no one deserved it more. Then Taylor came up to Hayley tapped her on the shoulder and pointed to Renee and I (which has never happened before, he usually lets Hayley do the deciding) so without fan girling too much this made us so fricken happy! It took a bit to get me up and over as my Doc got stuck and once I was up there I realized my shorts had come undone in the process. I turned to Justin who was giving me tumbs up and I looked at him and pointed to my shorts and he gave me the * OHH craaap * look. Haha It was absolutely amazing being up there with my best friend and with Brittany like one of the most dedicated fans in the entire world, plus a few other fans (Sorry that I Don’t know your names but you were ALL awesome up there :) ). Luckily the words of the song came to me because I was super worried I’d forget because they are a bit tricky. Renee did her sexy thing on the paramore box and danced next to taylor who then pushed her, cheeky man. I tried to get up where Justin was but it deemed to be impossible so I just got as close as I could, that dude is the actual bomb, just saying. After the song was over myself, Renee and Brittany had a group hug with Hayley, which was nice. As I was walking off taylor tried to high five me but missed so I tried again and missed AGAIN, renee laugh and then she attempted it and ALSO failed hahaha deeeerp moment, Taylor just laughed. I think it is such a perfect song to get fans up on and I never thought I would actually ever be able to feel that feeling again and I can not thank paramore enough for making it happen, especially taylor, he was way too keen! We then got to watch two songs side stage, which was also cool because seeing the crowd just go nuts was awesome and experience what paramore get to look at every night, they must always be on a high.
We then got sent back into the mosh for the two encore songs (Proff and BBBB) it’s the first time both Renee and I haven’t been on barrier for paramore songs, it actually was so much fun, especially when confetti just consumes you.
The show overall has been the best out of the three so far, not just because of our awesome experience but the band did give it their all and the enegery of everyone was bouncing everywhere! Ill end it there before this turns into a novel! Here is the altered set!
