thinkin bout..... the ironic tragedy woven into oz’s reincarnation process. the god of light told him he’d never be alone, but oz is someone who inherently WANTS to take on the consequences of his actions alone. this immortal being that loves relentlessly is constantly stuck watching innocent people get dragged into his life, his problems, sharing the pain that should be directed towards him. that’s probably one of the cruellest fates i could think of for a person like oz
#but then on the other hand... reincarnating kinda forces him to not wallow in his mistakes for eternity#because if he's cruel to himself he's being cruel to an innocent person#so it's ruthless and kind at the same time- a dichotomy dependent on your perspective#this concept is so very interesting and i wish rwby had more time to explore it#ozpin#rwby spoilers#willow whispers
