Building planters for the roof on a hot summer night.
The stairs are one step closer to completion. (har har)
A painted sketch of one of the cool items in my wife’s awesome collection of cool things - a fully-functioning Brownie 16mm camera.

A great shot of an alley I've passed through many times. Reminds of nights at the old space.
The bedroom door. We still need to work a few kinks out but it works pretty good! The biggest issue is mounting the caster on the bottom. I’ve found none that are small enough that can both swivel well and handle the weight. What we have now works decent enough but it needs to be refined to make it operate more smoothly.
Videodrome blu-ray awaits whislt I put my feet up on the newly-built coffee table.
All parts were recycled. The fir from an old coffee table I built several years back, the steel cut and welded from left-over fence materials and the tyndall stone I cut from a slab of reused patio stone from a friend’s yard.
A little love for Roy Liang and his Point Douglas screenprint in the background 😉. A steel bookcase acting as a wall to divide the basement stairs from the front room. The birch magazine boxes we got from a business that was moving from right below my work and the National Geographic magazines were picked up from kijiji sales - both for crazy deals! We had our friend Darren cut up some steel and I welded up the frame with some nice hidden reinforcements. It is bolted to the floor so it will act as a nice safe partition wall.
A small project to make Guizy's studio a little more comfortable. Took a few pieces of scrap metal and some birch off-cuts and made this nifty little swivel Mac stand.
Under-cabinet LED lighting installed this weekend. We will have to find some cooler (colour-wise) bulbs for the range hood (left) as they have a yellow cast in comparison to the LEDs.
