I wonder about the science behind why there’s so few entries for the ovation all star title. I was hoping there would be a lot more. On the other hand, Radix’s numbers have boosted like crazy.

I emailed The One a couple weeks ago and the representative told me that the ballroom round, the ovation final round, and the hip hop freestyle round would NOT be live-streamed. Which tbh I kinda hope they change their mind on that because it’s freakin nationals but go off.

can some break down the one nationals??? is there a title for each respective comp or is it all one?? how do they separate the different crowds??
all-star title: All Stars will perform their solo on stage in front of a panel of judges, which will account for 25% of their total scores. All Stars will also take part in an audition, featuring jazz, contemporary, and ballroom, which will account for the remaining 75%. Based on scores from solos and the audition process, a select number of finalists from each age division will advance to The OVATION Round on June 16. During The OVATION Round, Finalists in each age division will take part in our All Star Dance-Off, held in our Ballroom Competition room. Dancers will be asked to improvise in front of our panel of judges. In no particular order, judges will recall 3 dancers from each age division to reperform their All Star solo.The OVATION Round will conclude with awards for the Top 20 in each age division and the announcement of The OVATION Company. All Star winners, runners up and second runners up will be announced at The GALA.

In a few more weeks we’ll get to find out whether the P21 dress code applies to the dance offs too. And if it does, I’m curious to see how that works with the tiger friday ambassadors who have their own designs as they usually wear them for the dance offs and what not.
