p21jazzqueens annual nationals predictions 2026

note: this is just for fun! just because you/your dancer isn’t on this list doesn’t mean i think they aren’t deserving! i am rooting for all of these incredible dancers! i love coming back and seeing how close i am. and i am always excited to discover new dancers!!

I know there has been a bit of discussion about whether Blakelyn is advanced enough for P21. But regardless of ability, she seems quite close to the other minis on the team, particularly Alexa who she hangs out with outside of dance as well (which is nice as if no new minis join they’ll still have each other as convention room buddies). I believe that team dynamics are almost as important dance ability when it comes to creating a cohesive team and environment, and Blakelyn is great fit in that sense, and she has the room to grow into the team dance wise. She’s improving and seems to be happy and enjoying herself and that’s what matters most.

On another note: From the few combo videos I’ve seen, she seems to be a similar-ish level dance wise to Reese and no one ever has debated whether Reese belonged on the team.

anyone debating if a child is deserving of being at a dance studio or not needs to look in the mirror. blakelyn is a fabulous little dancer and she keeps getting better! if she isn’t in groups next year, i would love to see her do a solo!

how does the dancer control the lighting?

if a dance has light effects on stage, it needs to be controlled by the dancers, and not someone off stage

unfortunately, the jojo cruise interferes with the one nationals

wait Velocity is same week as TDA Vegas.... how is that possible? two nationals in the same week?

they are both in vegas and people have made it work, but i wouldn’t be surprised if stella dropped out of velocity

Lucia's solo had someone assisting with the prop. Totally not allowed. Wish everyone would play by the rules.

just checked the rules and the only rule with that is that lighting must be administered by the dancers on stage

the “one of one” award which is top soloist. the 3 highest scores recompete. if you win you get $500

to that one anon, why would molly make them wear the dress code for the dance off😭😭 dress codes are just a studio thing to make everyone look uniform, a lot of studios make their dancers wear all black to class
