Singapore | ArtScience Museum \ Double exhibitions.
Today is a great day for my eyes but not for my legs. After visited Buddha Tooth Relic Temple/Museum this morning, I spent 3 more hours in the afternoon at ArtScience Museum with two stunning exhibitions! One is Da Vinci: Shaping the future - the very first time in South East Asia and the other is Prudential Singapore Eye which is about Singapore’s contemporary art.
Note: Buy a combo ticket, you will save 16$, equal 4 meals at food courts excluding beverages.
Leonardo Da Vinci is such an awesome, genius and the most hard-working painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer ever. I think, it’s so good for him because TV, Internet, Facebook, tumblr and many other distracting things haven’t invented yet (oh man..). I loved the 7 minutes projection mapping film about how the famous Last Supper mural masterpiece has been made. It’s outrageous! And guess what, he is the one who invented the first car engine ever. Google it.
Prudential Singapore Eye, I felt lucky to attend this exhibition, I can see what local artists and other South East Asia artists are doing. Wow, and it’s so good. I can see many point-of-view, about art, life, thru their ideas, thru their works.
Hungry? Don’t grab a Sneaker or else. Try to walk to Lau Pa Sat food court, just about 15 mins walking, try Chili Crab or whatever you want.
