The Best Carry On Suitcase
Finding the perfect carryon can be quite the challenge. I had a great bag several years ago that finally bit the dust when it got run over by a luggage cart (tire mark on suitcase and all). After several episodes of damaged luggage, lost suitcases or waiting over an hour to collect a bag after a long flight, I vowed to never check a bag again. It’s tempting, but rarely worth it (perhaps I have some bad luggage juju). However, it sent me on the quest to find the perfect carry on bag. I like roller bags because they take the pressure off of your shoulders, are perfect to perch extra bags on top of and are easier to lug around when you are lost in the streets of London (I’ll save that story for another time).
I am a huge fan of the Victorinox Werks Traveler 4.0 WT 22 Exp Carry-On. It is by far the biggest carry-on bag I have found on the market and has some awesome inside features - built-in garment bag, small pouch and compression straps. I was able to use this bag on a 2.5 week trip to Europe, with some strategic packing. Now that we have the perfect bag picked out, the next post will be about some pro packing tips.

Welcome
There are two things I love in this world - travel and clothes! In an ideal world I would be able to bring my whole wardrobe on every trip. Between maximizing time on vacation, baggage fees and the inevitable lost checked suitcase, that isn't an option for me. I have not checked a bag in three years and want to share some tips and tricks I have picked up along the way for weekend trips to 2.5 week trips all in a carry on. This is my travel and packing blog - Packers Delight.
