the people who enjoy the type of art you create, will like it even if it's imperfect. and the people who hate the type of art you create, will dislike it even if it IS perfect.

don't skip ahead of bullies and bully yourself first. don't badmouth your own work, it doesn't alter other people's opinion on art, but it does make you feel worse about yourself.

I am so sorry, but you people can not claim to hate gen AI and what it stands for, while treating art as "content"- as in, literally the same way people who like to generate pictures treat gen AI products. So many people think that what art is worth is intrinsic to itself, people think art just Exists and do not understand the countless hours of labor and experience that went into creating it.

Me: the value of art does not exist in a vacuum and it should not go unexamined that people view it as products divorced from the labor of creating art. This commodity fetishism has resulted in the grand scale conception that gen AI can go unmoderated and uncritically utilized in its intellectual theft

a gang of adult friends are jumajid/isekaid into a blatantly absurd world

they see it's filled with shallow worldbuilding, unsurprising tropes, everyone even throws cheesy textbook one liners around.

there is still stakes. they're not immortal. theres a spectrum of "heck yeah magic" to "too old for this" but they're joined by their goal and bonds.

it starts with the latter end of that spectrum. another evil bad guy blocks their path throws out their usual cartoonish catchphrase. one of them barks back. something along the lines of "are those your last words?" the others jeer, cheer or roll their eyes but they notice they.. didn't say it with a straight face, but there was a distinct hunger in their eyes. they waved it off as just "playing along" of course.

one of them has gotten a " in their base town. the next time they go back for provisions, everyone else notices the color in their eyes as the two hugged each other even if their friend insisted they were seeing things.

the self-asigned brains of the group who has always been obsessed with building strategies for the kingdom berates the general for his carelessness after a close call lead to too much loss within the army.

and bit by bit, somehow, connections grew more and more genuine even among the "npcs". maybe they even discover more lore within and beyond the kingdom
