Regulus and Sirius always used sign language to talk.

Reg was an autistic boy and Sirius would do anything for his brother. So that’s how they would communicate when reg went non-verbal.

Over the years regulus found new strategies so they become less and less reliant on non verbal communication. However, this would always remain as a form of brotherhood to Sirius.

At age 12 When ever he was marauding with James they would sign before they knew muffilarto.

At 14 When ever they were discussing animagus plans infront of Remus, they would sign.

When the frail damaged body of Sirius black age 16 appeared at the potters all he could do was sign brother.

At age 19 he didn’t talk for a month, only signed to brother who hadn’t spoken to him in years and never would again.

At age 21, he didn’t speak for years. Only signed to the stars then cried for a sun that would rise again.

Okay poj season 2 ep 3 talk

I have seen many people be angry at Luke for what he did to annabeth in this episode and it reminded me of something that happened,

a few years ago (3 years Saturday) my best friend died and one thing my school did was let US paint a memeoral bench. While painting this one of the people in that old group said practically the same thing to me that like said to Annabeth. (“You weren’t even a proper friend and have no right to grieve as much as I do”). This peer was grieving too. And wanted to do right by my friend memory. Did I feel like shit? Yes. Did it ruin all friendships in that groups as people were turened against others? Yes. Should luke have said that? Fuck no.

But what we are forgetting is Luke was a child. He was moring his best friend. She should not have said that to annabeth but I am so glad that this line was in the show as it really shows how much isolation and pain grief causes, even amongst thoese grieving the same person.
