can someone explain to me why some nude lipstick look v purple when applied to my lips?? is it something about undertones? ex. i’m yellow undertoned and have beige-tan skin and MAC velvet teddy looks pinkish-purple on me. i need an explanation so i can look for nudes with the right undertones LOL

idk anything about punjabi and hindi but the diff between mandarin and cantonese is like the diff between eh. french and italian but with more grammatical differences. here’s a detailed example of a cantonese ad that completely breaks down if you read it as mandarin.

also afaik mandarin is the least close to classical chinese (= latin) out of all the chinese languages. mandarin uses more words where the other chinese languages are terser and read more poetically.
