Our Dad would always be harrumphing and p'shaw-ing behind his paper, when Top of the Pops was on the telly. "You can't hear the words!" "Call that racket music?" "You can't tell the boys from the girls!" "Spot of National Service, that's what those greasy yobbos need." But he seemed to go quiet whenever Pan's People or Legs & Co. came on. Maybe he'd found a really interesting article in his paper. About sheds, or lawnmowers, or something.
