Thanks a lot, Netflix.
So Jin is still alive and well. His mun is trash, though and has been super busy with her professional life. Trying to get back to things this weekend though. :)
In the meantime, my OC Zeba Ahsan is making a venture into LOST verse. Hit me up if you want to plot with her.
friendly reminder that if we are mutuals you can always ask for my: ●kik ●skype ●snapchat and talk with me ic or ooc without bothering me one bit.
Why are you on this island?
Lost stills → 6x13 The Last Recruit
To my LOSTies,
My mun is awful at locating the coordinates of this island once she logs off to return to her other accounts. In an attempt to help her along and to improve the odds of me actually getting to do something besides fish and wait for her to work on my drafts with me, my blog will be moved to a side blog of her main account [ breakfromthemundane]. I will be operating from the url @papasan-kwon. Everything else will remain the same !
Everything should be situated and organized by sometime this evening.
Thank you for your understanding.
((It’s not fair that Jin never got to meet his daughter and it’s not fair that he and Sun died and it’s not fair that Ji Yeon never got to know how much her parents loved her and it’s all just NOT FAIR AND I HATE EVERYTHING))
Jin has loved Ji Yeon since he first knew Sun was pregnant. Hell, he loved the idea of her before she ever existed. And even though he never got to hold his little girl, he felt whole whenever he’d hold Sun to himself in the evenings in the island, just before they’d drift to sleep.
(Also need a thread with Sun talking to Jin’s grave and Jin being on the island hearing the conversation in his dreams and talking back.)
❝Others….?❞ Hostiles. Desmond pulls back the hatch door and beckons him in. ❝Spose ya can help me with the button! Get in, brotha!❞
“Yes, Others.” Jin nods in confirmation, dropping his rifle down into the hatch before scrambling down the ladder. “The beach, they attacked the beach with guns. My wife, Sun -” Jin stopped mid-thought. This man did not speak Korean, and Sun had still ran off alone into the Jungle.
"Care to tell me what’s going on?"
“I have reason to believe the our truce has been compromised. I decided to give you people the benefit of a doubt and come myself.”
“I’m not. If I was, I wouldn’t come here to talk about it,” Eloise looked sharply over at the man. “Who exactly are you? I don’t believe we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.”
The tone in this woman’s voice - she was not someone to underestimate. “Jin, Jin Soo Kwon.” He bowed his head in greeting, not trusting to allow his eyes to leave her. “Richard,” Jin stated matter of factly. “We deal with Richard.”
Case #(the numbers don't matter here) "Nora"
The Island (age 25)
It’d all started when she’d boarded that ship - yet another stellar plan by the US government to hide her away from the Cartel and keep her safe until her day to testify in court came. Sometimes she wondered if she was still Nora, or just a conglomeration of the series of identities she’d been forced to assume. She’d already been so many people - lived within the mold of so many lives. She couldn’t even remember the name on the file she’d been studying when the keel of the ship had scraped coral reef. The sound of the alarm system as the hull filled with water still rang in her ears if she thought too hard about the details of that day. What she could remember was clutching onto a life vest and looking up to see the outline of trees on the horizon.
That was nearly two years ago.
With no record of a Nora Richards aboard the ship, no search party ever happened. Instead, the Witness Protection Program issued a death certificate for one Julia Price, a young artist dabbling in physics at Oxford University with no known surviving relatives, and closed Case #4178 permanently. Here on the island, though, Nora finally felt free. The story no longer mattered. There was no case file to review, no identity to memorize. There was just herself, The Island and Its people.
Others.
Hostiles.
Whatever they were, they felt like home.
