“we should start our own lil’ book club. have you read the ‘no safety in numbers’ series yet? that’s next on my list! i know most don’t, espeically office jobs. i work at like this gaming & comic shop---its kind of dead all the time though. that huge next comic shop like three blocks from here took almost all of our business.” papaya let out a small giggle as the girl tugged her her hair. “the first one it is! then we’ll go from there, i’m not tryin’ to mess with book seven though, i’ll pass on the whole wizarding war.”

“I can understand that. The combination of mythos might off-set or even upset some individuals. However, I tend to like seeing how fantastical and magical people can go when it comes to fiction. It truly shows what their imagination is like.”

“Oh yeah, me too bud! I think when you mix mythos is when it gets really interesting y’know? Its not so predictable. I think something like pulling from mostly Norse mythology would be really interesting to visit but I’m not exactly sure what I’d do for that. Probably just the Magnus Chase series.”

“The Wheel of Time series…” Max went quiet for a moment, his mind searching for a result. “The Wheel of Time is a series of high fantasy novels written by American author James Oliver Rigney Jr., under the pen name Robert Jordan.” He paused. “I have never read these books, but the information I have gathered seems to point to them being very high fantasy with European and Asian mythos intermingled in the series.”

“That’s them!” she said with a smile. “I think they may be a little too much fantasy for some people to handle rather than just fantasy lite like the other series are.”

'course it never happened, but that’s what dreams are far. i honestly don’t think anyone would be able to pass up hogwarts or narnia. so, with those two i think you’re set. ❞

“ lunch breaks. there’s actually a bunch of apps that help you stay off your phone and laptop, because it blocks websites. staying away from those things were the main issue i had, and i got those apps and i’m suddenly reading so much more. ” a grin on her lips, head tilting. “ it’s not like i have anywhere to be. you choose first, though!! ”
