Latest movie? What did you think? the sheep detectives. I liked it fine it was good. I was a little confused about the jump to conclusion, it didn't fully make sense but it was still good.

What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything? I WOULD TALK ABOUT DAMAGELESS X-FACING ONESHOT. it would be hours long and wonderful and I could explain soooo much about mcsr and physics and the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into developing Strats and also expose the people behind it who aren't well known to more people! circuit store is genuinely legendary I love her forever <3

Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot? don't do it if it's not fun (specifically about creative stuff)

Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago? STOP PROCRASTINATING AND LOOK UP AO3 I could've gotten into fanfic so much earlier if I just stopped procrastinating finding fanfic to read.

Do you believe in luck and superstitions? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rituals? no not really

Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience? I would never perform but I enjoy making music on the computer

there is this one fucking ad on twitch where a small child screams very loudly and high pitched and omfg. I genuinely cannot handle it. any loud unexpected noise makes me terrified. I can't even put into words how fucking distressing it is to be listening to a stream and then suddenly feel like absolute terror has been injected into your veins and you think you're going to die. I hate it I hate it I hate it.

today hax suddenly ended his stream without even saying bye to his chat because he was too frusturated with his gameplay and himself. i felt so so bad, i wish i could give him a hug, and tell him that it's okay to lose sometimes, and he doesn't need to be the best all the time </3

finally watching this stream (draftout after he lost to fulham) and oh my baby is so mad at himself :( he lost to mongey 3 times in a row. the first game he was so happy to see his friend and he seemed okay with losing. the second he was (again) talking about how depressing losing in draftout is. and of this third game is so bad :( he’s behind from the beginning and is just beating himself into the ground. and he had a problem with finding a trial chamber again and he’s so upset about it. “i just fucked it up again? even though i practiced? and I should know better… this time…” </3 my heart

he’s really surprised me recently by saying concerning mental health stuff out loud. he seems like the type to try and hide his struggles until he’s got it under control. i like to think its because he is doing better, and trying to be more open with his emotions in general. unfortunately to the audience we suddenly here him saying “this is so depressing” “it just makes me want to kill myself”

“its so demotivating when i think i know what im doing and i clearly dont and i lose armor stand somehow the thing ive been going for for 7 minutes!! like fuck off.”

“and maybe i cant count and i need to go back to kindergarten because im worthless and.. do nothing with my life.”

“its just embarrassing its genuinely depressing… if i at least wasn’t stupid… its just like so depressing that I’m an actual- I just have something wrong with me.”

and then he just ends stream. looks at the seed for 10 seconds and just silently ends.

this is what killed my last playoffs is that I *know* that hax does not have anyone with him physically who he is safe and comfortable with. he has all his amazing friends online and I’m sure they tried to comfort him. but I know he spent a while crying in bed after that. maybe took a nap. hopefully woke up to some dms asking if he’s okay. Maybe rowl called hax right away. hopefully hax picked up and let himself be comforted.

i think a big part of hax’s self worth issues are because of ADHD (he obviously has adhd okay fuck off) and feeling like he’s “only” good at minecraft, that he is a failure in every other part of life (he clearly isn’t), and so when he fails at minecraft? its the end of the world. the fact that after these crashouts recently he comes right back to stream the next day is very reassuring to me though! Like he knows it’s not true and is working on not internalizing the self loathing, and trying to put intrusive thoughts in their place.
