Been making more plushies. This one's a spider!
I would really like to tell you guys about Cholyknight. They've got an amazing website full of patterns for making stuff, and many are free. It's so nice that they give out free patterns and I wouldn't have been so into sewing if not for whoever is running this website
I swear I am not sponsored, just want to show my love
Drew another dnd character for an upcoming mini-campaign. Half Elf Rogue, Swashbuckler
Been wanting to post something here again so I thought I'd share some photography I did a while back. I started because I was struggling with derealisation, and having a rough time explaining it to people. So I tried to depict it visually. Not much easier than explaining it verbally, but at least it's fun this time.
Anyone here struggling with the same thing? Are these pictures a good attempt at visualizing it?
Just a note for people who don't experience it, it doesn't literally look like this.
The deep dab sticker! Now you can deep dab on all yer Telegram frens
I need suggestions on what to do next
Tried a new shading technique for a dnd concept I had.
Third dragon. I think this one came out the best but I love all my little magic lizards!
Second sock dragon! I'm absolutely in love with Eastern dragons, just the way they look is so cool, so I made one. I cut a sock vertically down the middle, sewed it shut, and segmented the sock, stuffing it before sewing the little bit shut. It makes it nice and floppy!
I am absolutely obsessed with dragons, but I will be making different designs, after I'm done with a few more dragons. I just love them too much
So during lockdown, I took an old pair of socks, bought some wool and made some sock dragons and it resparked my love for sewing and making dolls. This is my first one
Another sticker for Telegram. If anyone wants to use these cursed stickers, it's called Jacksfilms. Beware though, your friends might have a lot of questions..
Started making a Telegram sticker pack for all my favorite funny faces from Jacksfilms, since he is hilarious. Currently thinking about including The Look, Barfing, and the deep dab of course.
Little doodle of my one dnd character: Maxi Malova, Tiefling Wizard
Sneak peak of big emrakul drawing I'm doing
So for mixed media, we ended up abandoning our big project for the term. Turns out, a lot of people didn't do their planning for it since we're all stuck at home and the teacher can't monitor us (I can't talk, cause my stuff is always late). So we're doing a bunch of smaller art pieces that we have to send every week. The theme is still collage, but we're trying out a bunch of different styles.
the first week, we had to make a collage in the style of Kate Shaw, using household items to make textures that we cut shapes out of. For this, I used blue and green food coloring, potato stamps, cocoa powder and sunflower oil.
I think my favorite thing was the sunflower oil.
Because it doesn't mix with food coloring well, I ended up making these really cool marks on the page that looked like rock! If I added water to the “mix”, the marks would be darker, and if I added more oil, it would go lighter. I ended up making the mountains with that.
Food coloring is a surprisingly nice paint! If you add more water to the blue, it starts to become pink. It reminds me of that experiment we did in Natural Science where we used black ink to make a rainbow...
For art, we had to brainstorm our dream world this is one of my ideas
