Hello everyone! After a rather long time, I am back. Exams are over and Iâm just getting back into the swing of things again. Having said that, a lot has gone down whilst I was away. And I was hoping before I start RPing again, I might be able to let out a little rant and maybe get some advice? Sorry to do this but I canât on my personal. Under the read more I go.Â
So Iâm not gonna give any specific names here. Two of my friends have had a massive falling out. I somehow got roped into it a little, just enough. Iâm currently very mad at one of them for specific reasons Iâm not gonna bore you with -- its all related to the fight. Anyway, she kept messaging me over and over so I had to tell her that I was angry and wanted space. I told her that when I was ready to speak to her again, I would text her, and asked her to respected me wanting space. She did for the grand total of three days, then the texts started again. But worse is that sheâs acting like Iâm fine with her and like I was never angry. Sheâs messaging me as if we never fell out. And I canât deal with it. Because not only is that her disrespecting me wanting space, but also its her disrespecting my feelings and the idea that I am mad at her. She seems to think that everything is at her speed and everything is fine when she says it is. And on top of that, I go back to school on Thursday so I have to see her, and sheâll be acting like everythingâs fine. But its not and I canât have that interaction. I need to act civil for the sake of friends who havenât been dragged into this and therefore donât know about it, but Iâm still mad. And if I go in acting like its all fine as well, then sheâll think it is.Â
I donât mind her being around because sheâs friends with a lot of the same people as me and I donât want to turn this into a group wide hate fest, just I donât want her talking to me and acting like Iâm okay with her. But if I say anything, sheâll either leave our friend group, which will prompt questions. Or Iâll leave out of shear awkwardness, which I donât want to do because I finally have good friends. I have no idea how to get it through to her that Iâm not her friend right now and she needs to stop. I donât know what to do.
//UPDATE! So two exams down, one to go. Its three weeks away. Three long weeks of worrying and being scared, because honestly it my hardest exam. Thereâs been other things going on in the time Iâve been away. I wonât bore you with them -- some have been quite good and some have been bad. Also my Ray muse has been on and off. Hopefully, despite my worrying, heâll return in these few weeks.Â
So yeah, hopefully Iâll be back to RPing on here soon. I do miss you all. Thank you to every one of you who have continued following me and waiting for me during this time.

//My first AS exam is on Tuesday (thatâs the 12th of May), and my exam period is going to run up until the start of June. In case you donât know, A-Levels are a big deal, because their outcome determines which universities I can and cannot go to. This is my first year but to get good final grades Iâll need good ones this year. So what Iâm saying is, I may not be around as much because I need to revise quite a lot.
    Danâs brow quirked, but he didnât turn his stare away from the British made gun. He just hummed in amusement and picked up the cloth that was settled beside the barrel. He took a seat on the stool by the table and lifted the weapon to where he could start polishing at the lens of the scope, â â Not sure what to make of your tone, but thatâs exactly what I am. The soldier type. Trained to shoot and with deadly purpose.â
     He gave pause, considering the latter asked question spoken by Ray. He lifted his gun further as he thought, glancing through the scope while aiming her towards the opposite end of the room. He sighed and lowered Igraine, returning to making circles with cloth along the glass. He felt his lips pull into a slight smirk, amusement still holding him in high regard as he finally found the answer he wanted to give Ray, â â To be honest about it: Iâm not entirely sure myself. You just seem more like the pick up guy, the one who takes a pistol and runs beside the other. Iâm not saying you donât do a good jobâŚIâm actually saying youâre rather impressive from what I first thought of you when I heard your position in the crew.â
   The mechanical motion of cleaning his gun was like second nature to him. Gentle small circles, wiping away any dirt and grime. His gaze only lifted from his gun when Dan took a seat, returning to the sniper rifle after a second. Ray enjoyed the other being around. Conversation was relaxed, it flowed rather easily. Even that response -- sounding vaguely like a mock threat -- made a smile pull at his lips. âDonât worry, I meant it as a good thing. Its probably a lot easier to be intimidating when you have muscle and presence.â
He let out a small chuckle, eyebrows raising. Some of that sounded like a compliment -- and when in doubt, he may as well take it as such. âThanks... I think.â A pause. âFor what its worth, youâre definitely one of the best hires weâve ever taken on. You can actually do your job and do it well. Plus youâre a lot more interesting.â
Her laughter stops short at his plea. Sarah clumsily hops over the back of the couch, all the while shaking her head. Sheâs so ready to argue that, no, she was just an innocent bystander. That this was his mess, and he had to clean it up himself. That he must have hit the bong earlier and was still high if he thought she was going to help him. And then she looked at his face, and his stupid pout and all efforts to deny him melted from her brain. ââOkay. Fine. But youâre buying Taco Bell afterwards. Now go get me the trash bags.â
   A victorious smile broke his pout. He was happy enough for the meal to be on him, so long as he had some help cleaning up. Getting food he could never be too lazy for. âFair enough -- deal.â
He exited the room, returning not long after with the bags. âBe careful. Thereâs a lot of sharp glass.â It was a bit of an unnecessary warning; Sarah was intelligent enough to know that herself. But a sudden sort of fatherly mode had been activated upon realisation of the risk.
   âY-Youâre a rabbit.â That was the first full sentence she could make, though she still stuttered when speaking it. Her ears were flat against the top of her head, eyes still wide as she watched Rayâs reaction. It definitely wasnât good, not that she had expected it to be anyways. And she really just had to ask, âDo you have a tail?â
   He hadnât even considered the tail. Did he really want to know? Whether he did or not, the sniper found himself reaching to check. And surely enough, there was a little fluffy stub of a tail. Just to make sure, Ray gave it an experimental wiggle. His expression gave everything away -- eyes closed in frustration, mouth set in a hard line, eyebrows raised. âYup.â
The laughter only worsens at the completion of his story. Not even Gavin would pause before calling bullshit on Rayâs behalf. The thought of Gavin having more common sense than Ray was a rare occurrence, but that just made the situation even more funny. âYouâd better clean that up before the Gents get back. Geoff would kick your ass just for thinking you could sell him on that atrocity you call a plan.â
   A small pout. Ray knows sheâs right; that alibi would never hold up, not even for a second. But that doesnât mean its any easier to admit. âYeah, laugh it up.â He stood there, arms crossed, waiting for the laughter to subside.Â
âFine -- fine. So, youâre gonna help me out, right?â The pout was changed from a display of sadness to a weapon, in an attempt to win her over.

   â ray.  â who are we after today?     havenât gotten my hands dirty in     a couple of weeks, so if more than     a bullet to the head is needed.Â
        â-i got you. â
   âEager there, Linds?              I could use some help -- yeah.â
He slid over a manila folder to her, containing some information on their next target. It was going to take a bit of planning and some subtlety. A few security guards would have to be taken out, maybe a camera, before they could reach the intended victim.Â
â Can I ask you a question?? â
   âDepends on what its about.â Yeah -- he was a little cautious.
     âH-Head, ears, l-look.â As she was talking, her hands went to the top of her own head, unable to produce actual sentences that mightâve made sense. It was kind of hard to think, she had found, when your boyfriend suddenly grows rabbit ears. The fact that she had grown ears shouldâve kept her a little calm, but it didnât seem to matter really.
   Oh no. Those words told him everything he needed to know -- and Ray did not like it. His hand flew up to the top of his head. There he found exactly what he was expecting and dreading. Ears. Fluffy, floppy ears. He looked at Rainâs own deer ears, trying to take the whole situation on board. How was this possible? Did this mean it was contagious? And most importantly... âWhat kind of ears are mine exactly?â
A serious facade shatters after a moment, and Sarah falls into laughter. Of course she was gonna keep her mouth shut. However, there seemed to be one small flaw in Rayâs otherwise rock-solid plan.
ââWhat dog, genius?â
   âThe dog that... broke in here, did this, then left.â His words had began cautiously, but had grown in undeserved confidence -- as if his plan had suddenly come together. In fact what had actually happened was a ridiculous farfetched alibi had just been strung together, which was unlikely to be believed by anyone with any sense. However Ray was content, just for that moment, that it would work. A look of satisfaction passed over his face.Â
